An army of Murder Bears is a terrifying thought, but now I also want the ability to have an army of them for my own.
Corypheus should have used an army of Venatori Mages riding on the shoulders of Red Templars riding on murder-bears.

Another thing that is just like in Skyrim (no need for a Dragonborn but a Cave Bear born
). Well, at least Al was a somewhat tougher fight than an arctic murder bear.
What is it with open world games and murder bears?
"Murder bear"... murdear?
Easier in finnish; "murhakarhu" = "murhu" ![]()
An army of Terror demons, Wraiths, Despair demons & Lyrium smugglers, getting tanked by bears. No force on Thedas can hope to contend!
Cory would need to get Ditka to lead his bear army.

A game that has animals in it, is like Skyrim because...
It has bears?
Aye, I hate them bears. Especially as a non-tank warrior. How the heck is it hitting me when it's doing a frontal down-swipe when I am slappin' dat bear arse? And why does it take about half my health away?
Though my Knight Enchanter kinda doesn't care. But then, he doesn't care about much.
I agree; clearly you had the same trouble as me over constant bear attack. What was worse is they had terrible timing; my companions have just started a really interesting conversation when along comes a bear.
At one point I had 4 bears and 4 lyrium smugglers all at once.
An army of bears.
Easier to get, more determined
"Release the hounds", is what it makes me think of
.
With bees in their mouths, and when they roar they shoot bees at you."Release the hounds", is what it makes me think of

After a while I just started nope'ing in the other direction whenever I saw a Great Bear wandering around in the Emerald Graves, all
What is that thing, and what game is it from?

I always loved it when some hard NPC (Cassandra's personal quest mages) was fighting a bear when I encountered them. Saved me half the fight!
Well, my introduction to wildlife wasn't great. I was level 3 or 4, just in Haven and looking for the alchemists notes, pissed off a Ram, got some leather, pissed off a Nug, got some leather, pissed off a Druffalo and saw my life flashing before my eyes. Even at level 14, these damn things can still off a player in one shot if they're at half health. That rushing attack. I'm now trying to imagine Cory on that hill not with Samson but with a few Great Bears, some Druffalos, Gurns and maybe throw in the Gurguts.
What is that thing, and what game is it from?
Dark Souls.
Honey badgers, because they don't give a damn.
especial those greater bears.
or those armored damn animals that do none stop charge on you very annoying.
@abisha - Druffalos.
@abisha - Druffalos.
yea those, or buffalo i used one to destroy some fade rights with quest where buffalo's roam.
Cory would need to get Ditka to lead his bear army.
Yes, but Ditka would trade all the bears for a longhorn...

omg lmao
Seriously, the bears are persistent as f*ck. I'm playing nightmare and I got trapped on a rock hoping it would leave me alone. ;_; They also seem to come out all the time and during moments where I'm fighting scripted enemies like Cassandra's rogue templar/mages or Dorian's Venatori.
I learned to get them to fight each other and watch from a safe distance. lol
@Merlik - Sounds like you got caught in 'Bear Alley' as I like to call it. Fairly certain I know the spot. Just before that stone little 'court' area where you find one of Cassandra's targets. Disappearing rogue type enemies along with bears is a nightmare I don't want to repeat. I've had both good luck and bad luck with them. Had one playthrough where no matter how many times I entered this area I rarely saw bears, then I started a second playthrough and couldn't go for two feet without a bear attack!
