First off, I apologize since this is probably the wrong forum to post such a thing.

However, would the Genesis, part of the Cerberus Pack for ME2 still show up if you completed ME1. Also, would the Genesis for ME3 part of any other addon? Would that still show up and mess things up for imports?

For the Genesis for ME2, if you are doing an import from ME1, then the comic does not play. It does not mess anything up having it installed for an straight ME1 import. With the xbox, however, if you import an ME2 character into ME2 (i.e. a new game plus) then it messes things up. So if you are going to do a new game plus on the xbox I would uninstall the Genesis comic first.

I cannot comment on the Genesis for ME3.

I have Genesis for ME2 and even when I import it plays just with your choices from the past game as opposed to letting you decide.

Really?  I have Genesis downloaded for both ME 2 and ME 3 but never bothered using it because I always import.

That Genesis thing is great for me, because I never bothered finishing up ME1.  For those who started with ME1 and are importing to ME2, Genesis is probably not as highly valued as it is in my gameplaying efforts.

Same here. I import the game and before the intro the comic just plays with all choices automatically playing out like I made them in the imported game.

Does it automatically play when you select to import?  I have never had it play for me.  What platform do you play on?

Yes it does automatically play if I select to import and just to clarify I'm on PC. Maybe it works differnently on consoles or something or I somehow changed the settings to do it like that without realizing. Well at least I get my moneys worth like that, since I actually only used it to make a new game once.

Oh also I just checked and the comic doesn't play before the intro after all, it plays right after the intro (as in after Shepard gets sucked into space).

Sounds like it is a PC thing.  I play on the 360 and I have never gotten it to play.  Oh well, I would rather experience the actual games than a synopsis of them.  That is why I always import.

For ME3 at least on Wii U, if you played a character to the end and imported the ME3 character, you have the option to re-run Genesis 2 comics to change the character's backstory and try other stuff.
