@edit: just to be clear, I'm not making ad for another game(unavailable in the west anyway), just want to show that our inquisitor could look more unique, and this game should be being done by a small studio in asia.

Well, it definitely has better hair options.... *sobs*
I feel your pain. *Looks at the huge braid on the example DA:I presets they showed ages ago, cries a bit.*
Welp
gunna have to get this
I've played a few games with AMAZING character creators. You could customize your character in so many ways that it just wasn't funny. But it was often down-hill from there.

Yep! Welcome to Black Desert. No level cap, all grinding, gender locked classes and F2P. But hey, you can make a photoshopped K-Pop idol. >.>
Yeah, I've been mentioning this from time to time in my comments. A whole other world of immersion. Sadly, I won't have the time to spend on it when it releases.
Why can't we make Asians this easily in Dragon Age! And female hairstyles that aren't hideously bizarre! Man...
I think the Japanese prefer the fade over reality.
[What I mean by that is that they love escapism, games, movies, more than most]
Wow that's pretty awesome.
But it lacks some realistic skin textures...
I always appreciate these type of character creators, eventhough it's a completely different style. I'm actually interested in using it for pose refencing for drawing. They way you can model the characters at the end is pretty cool.
The game itself might not really be it for me (as someone mentioned, probably a pay2win grindfest), but I like how Korean games like this have elaborate character creators. I know quite a few people would enjoy having more detail and options for their characters, but it seems developers (in the West) don't find it worthwhile.

You'd think that EA (the company that owns both BioWare and the Sims franchise) would take a closer look at how popular the Sims really is. Why is that? Because most people like making things in the Sims whether it be characters or houses. Character creation is popular with a lot of people. I'm really disappointed that BioWare didn't put more effort into hairs. Their CC would be perfect if only the hairs were better, and there were more options. I mean the hairs look like they came from a whole other, much older game.
ETA: I mean, why not take some inspiration from the Sims Medieval, also owned by EA? Look, BioWare, here there are some medieval style hairstyles you could draw inspiration from and make better, more graphically pleasing versions of.....but no. ![]()
