Decided to ditch the horns. Yeah, he looks like a burly elf with facial hair, but I really like the hornless look combined with a mohawk.

OMG! He's really cute especially in those last 2 pics. ![]()
This thread must not die!
I don't even know where I dusted it up.
So I've done it again. I cereated a new qunari... Maker help me ![]()
I present to you: Marek Adaar my first complete ass-quisitor and total douchebag.

And some fanart for Adaar appreciation ![]()
Oh god that is some terrible fan art!
But I can appreciate that there are other Cass x Qunari OTP fans out there!
....And that's....actually quite a damn good Qunari face you have there. That one beats mine I think. I don't suppose you have the schematics for that face available?

Nah sorry I didn't take notes while creating him so unfortunately I don't have schematics. ![]()
And yeah I suppose I still have to work on my drawing skills but hey at least I'm trying to contribute something to the outrageous lack of Adaar/Cass fanart. ![]()
Decided to spend my time taking screenshots, instead of actually playing the game (again). ![]()
My 3 main beefcakes:

Ok so question for all you fellow qunari (/tal-vashoth) RP'ers. What dialogue do you select usually? Do you go for the full qunari tough guy effect? Or do you choose what your companions want to hear for best approval? It's kind of hard to be a badass and still get approval!
For my Qunari, he's more of the classic good guy. He looks big and intimidating but only applies pressure if/when needed. He's actually pretty amicable in conversations and sometimes funny. He doesn't need to showcase his brute strength to achieve his goals. He identifies as Qunari even though followers of the Qun think otherwise. He is interested in the teachings of the Qun but not necessarily willing to submit to their doctrines. He wants to do what's best for everyone and is slowly convinced he is the Herald of Andraste as the game progresses... A merc nobody who becomes chosen to help save Thedas from destruction.
I have seventeen Inquisitors, with nine runs completed (all long games over 100 hrs) and eight additional games in various stages of progress.
My finished game "male" Inquisitors [at least until the next DLC] are: Gaanth (elf s/s warrior); Joltram (dwarf t-h warrior); Ganiel (elf rogue-daggers); Kaatar (qunari t-h warrior); Waldo (human rogue-archer) and Baldur (dwarf rogue-daggers)
The guys who've not completed their run are: Neville (human s/s warrior); Minch (human t-h warrior); and Cyprian (human mage). I've probably started and later deleted about as many Inquisitors as I've actually retained, if not more.
Tall, Debonaire, Horned, but not quite the ladies' man...Spoiler
Amen, brother, amen!
i'm proud enough of this guy except when his chin gets caught in his neck...also the rogue armor is sometimes really awkward on him?
also the qunari armor makes some cutscenes look....scandalous ![]()

Well, I've certainly enjoyed going through this thread!
KNOW WHAT I JUST LEARNED? You can have jewels. Well, jewel. In your horns. Your gilded horns. I don't know how I missed it. Or maybe I didn't and skipped them because I don't like the hairstyles they come with but still! Gilded, jewelled horns! A qunari who walks around with their broken horns would be completely different from one who walks around with fancy gilded ones. And I happen to like the gilded horns. So now I wanna create a new character based entirely on extrapolating what kind of person might work around with gilded, jeweled horns.

That is kind of awesome. I love the idea of a fashion-conscious qunari who's aaalll about the shinies.
Behold the bling of Tash Adaar:
You can't see the horn bling as well, but the Exquisition mod works really well with the qunari.
My hornless beardy guy:
Spoiler
Looks Klingon.
I'm re-re-replaying my qunari again... now with a bow

Horn bling buddies!
From a roleplaying standpoint, my Adaar gilds his horns as a f*** you to the Qun's attitude toward mages. He sets himself up as the opposite of a saarebas: proud, fiercely independent, and completely in control of his own badassery.
So conflicted. Can't decide if my Adaar is gonna romance Josie or Cass. DECISIONS.

I like that!
Mine had some self-image problem in the past, growing up in a human world.
Lately, I was thinking a lot about Adaar as a child: already bigger and stronger than the other children around.
I think it was difficult for him to share their games. Everyone was telling him all the time to not be impetuous, to pay attention to not hurting someone, to be calm...
At some point, he became really uncomfortable with his body. Too big. Too grey. Too much horns.
After a while, he had to find his way to self-acceptance and the gilded horns were part of that processus.
