So i get to haven and go to buy the inquisition armor, like i have with every other character, only to equip it and see my character in pajamas. Is this really happening this long after release? This is pretty game breaking. Why is there no word on this being fixed?

pretty much. I personally find that the only "default" look that looks bad is the heavy armors that have the coat. For medium and light armors, a travel coat/trench coat makes sense (especially for a human mage due to robes making you stick out).

I dont think you understood what i was saying. When i equip the armor it renders as the clothes you wear when in haven or skyhold.

edit: Just skyhold I mean, the pajama looking outfit.

That is as designed.

Its like Hawke changing into "house wear" in DA2

The Kim Jong Il suit is intended while at skyhold, I really despise it and hate that it can't be changed into something else as it just looks awful. There are bugs that exist though for certain armors. My qunari inquisitor mage wears medium armor, and when equipping prowler armor, the character's arms deform and look like they are separated from the shoulders almost. Likewise when playing a dwarf, certain medium armors don't fit the body at all and the coat portion seems to float above their head, it's just inexcusable really to have such glaring glitches so many weeks after release.

Jesus, people, did you even read OP post?? HE IS NOT ASKING ABOUT SKYHOLD OUTFIT AT ALL! (also- spoiler...)

He is talking about a bug that occurs in HAVEN (in HAVEN you do not wear pajama!), when you want to buy Inquisitor armor from vendor (the inquisitor armors that are start armors to buy for every class) and he has a problem becasue when he want to wear it on his Qunari character- the armor do not show up on his character, making him being in pajama (which you have if you unequip armor in game, becasue that is "naked" model- pajama). Which means that those armors do not render on Qunari character! That is his problem and question! Read twice please!

Now to OP- this is known bug for those armors for qunari :(. Sorry to tell you that but we yet have to see fix for it. Right now those armors do not render on qunari and that only shows how much qunari were totally unfinished and late game addition.

Also OP consider rerolling to other race- becasue in entire game there is no Qunari-only armors, not Qunari-like armors that look like qunari. Only trench coats. And those couple of armors that COULD look good on qunari- are race restricted to every race APART FROM QUNARI.

So, before BioWare won't reroll patch or some DLC or modders won't make good qunari armors- you are screwed with armors for them (qunari).

Your problem is a bug- and nothing can be done about it.

Cheers and I feel your pain.

The reading comprehension in this thread is fail (except Maraka). And yeah it sucks, Qunari have barely any armor options at all, so get used to wearing the same looking armor for most of the game. Bioware don't care, as everyone knows by now.

Qunari got kinda screwed all in all. I am a dwarf and human player in general but I fully sympathize with how screwed qunari were. Once again I have to say, if they had just had 1 team working on a single player game instead of 2 so they could have a mediocre multiplayer, I suspect we would not be having many of these complaints. There was a time when Bioware would have realized this but they truly have just become an extension of EA: profit before pride. They needed their infinite microtransaction potential...

Thank you makariben, yes that is what I was referring to, and it really sucks. My qunari character is actually my third, first two being human, but it is still unacceptable this long after launch. Oh well, I guess ill just have to roll with bull for a qunari reaver. :(

I know full well what he was referring to, i was simply stating my disdain for said suit and how we get stuck with it at skyhold by default. To be stuck with it even before that part of the game  is worse. I then went on to point out how there are other glitches associated with qunari and certain armors. so reread what i wrote before saying someone's reading comprehension is "fail"

I was kind of joking my first post. As far as what you are asking about, I have no clue. Maybe it was just not designed for a Qunari.

This is interesting. I just started my first Qunari play-through and saw those PJs pop up in Haven - but only in the War Room. I have worn the Scout Coat, and now the Hunter Coat. Imthink the PJs only showed up when wearing my "Deluxe" Inquisitor Dragon Coat. I am quite happy with coats, as I like the look for my Rogue. Just hoping I can find decent stuff later on in the game. My Qunari is a female, so I don't know what diff that will end up making.

One day. As far as qunari go, I'm just glad we get to be one. I really do wish that the hair was separate from the horns, but whatever. On the brightside, the later level armors look pretty damn sick :). Plus, the Inquisition is just beginning, the possibilities of DLC are endless it seems.
