I'm intresting of those as well but I'm pretty sure Cassandra is romanced way more than others and humans are most created race ^^

I wonder how popular qunaris are though compared to other races.

I get the feeling they'll unseat the dwarves as third placers. Poor dwarves.

If this site is any indication, I've never seen so much elf love in my life. Pretty cool, considering how few appreciated the Dalish back in DAO.

Human is going to be number one!  :D  I'm curious only about the qunari rank on the list. Hopefully, the dwarves can at least move from 5% to 7%.

5% is still a lot, especially if 2 million or more people bought origins. I can have some hope, right!?

I'm pretty sure that they will take 3rd place from dwarves as well, I haven't really seen much dwarf Inquisitors around. I plan to create one myself though.

We're all hiding out in the dwarves support thread.

Actually kinda curious if FemQunari is more popular than male. I'm not a big Qunari fan, but like the females much more (not just for being cute.. I just like the design and longer faces/head shapes).. I wonder how different I am.

Probably wouldn't get a stat on this, I guess.

Should I take from this that consoles are a relative brofest?

I want to see the romance and race statistic. My bet will be on Cullen or Cassandra being the highest. The races probably will go human, elf, qunari, and dwarf in that order.

I have a feeling Cassandra, Iron Bull, Solas, and Cullen will be very popular.

I think the male/female statistic is a little misleading...I played a pretty girlie boy elf in order to romance either cassandra or dorian. And I'm a girl gamer. My husband played a female inquisitor first :P

So what I'd like to see is a statistic of male and female gamers :)

Are dwarves really unpopular? THAT IS SO SAD :(

Actually maybe Solas might not be? Only because it's terribly specific, female elf inquisitor only...and I didn't realize how hawt Solas was until I finished the game :P

Male- female characters ratio doesn't show gender ratio of players, that's true though it can give some direction of it since some players only play with their own gender (although there is few that only play with opposite gender).

It seems like dwarfs aren't that liked, they have always been like that : <

I keep saying.. they need a dwarven game. Or at least extensive content. Or don't bother at all. You have to sell the world of dwarves to make them work. All you get in something like this is diehard fans, who don't care where the dwarf is.

Look at the success of the Hobbit, for an idea how it could work.

I'm female and I play mostly male characters due to the cringe inducing female walk/run fish flop animations.

Yeah I have nearly twice as many males as I do females because of that. >_>

I played a dwarf in DAO but there's not enough content for one to make it worth playing one in DAI. I hope the next game has a lot of dwarfiness including a good race gated romance similar to Solas' for elves.

So dwarves lack content compared to other races in DAI? That's shame, they got quite nice Origin stories in Origins.

Anyone know the statistics for DA2?

I don't think they released one. The only other game they released statistics like this for (that I'm aware of) is ME3, where only 18% played a female Shepherd... even though the male Shepherd had vastly inferior voice acting :P

Dwarves and Qunari alike. Qunari just have the benefit of being exotic, so I think they might have more players.

The story we uncover in the Hissing Wastes about that Dwarven settlement would make for a great game, I think.

I'd imagine the qunaris lack content cause they were newest addition to game but it's still shame. Qunari is pretty much only unique race that DA universe have which only add to being exotic to play and dwarves are cool as well, I like how they have changed them for DAI. It's very unfortunate that they have less content, it'd be best if all races had similar amount.

I didn't notice a lot of extra content for qunari players, in fact looking at some of the lists for war table missions it's humans and elves, then dwarves but hardly any for qunari (maybe one or two as part of your old merc band are the only ones I remember).

I also play PC, am female and play both genders.

Also, in regard to the number of dragons killed *bows head in shame at my contribution to current tally*

No one is going to like me saying this, but I think they should have just waited for another game to do it right. Like, you can make an awesome Vashoth story in the North, where Qunari are more present. Here, it's just randomness. DAI was intended to be a final exploration of Ferelden/Orlesian politics and Chantry stuff. Throwing all of the other stuff in doesn't really do anything for it.

No thanks, I want in on that action too, but I'm not playing a shortcake to do it, not even for Harding.

I wonder how they counted the numbers? I'm on PS4 and I've created 6 male inquisitors (while only 3 make it to Haven) and 4 females. I'm trying to say that ppl love to create a char for whatever purpose (to try the game out, test race animation, try out the classes, test bugs etc.) then delete them after a while.

I did that a lot. I created a character, played a few minutes then decided to change something (hair, tatoo, voice...) and deleted the character.

I would be interested to know how many players finished the game. Or how many helped the mages and templers. ^_^

Female on PC. Only play female IQ (Human Warrior & Human Mage) However, with ME I only ever play MaleShep (hated femshep). It very much depends on the game for me.

Yeah, I'm interested in in this as well.  How many of us have created a character then gotten into the game and decided that we didn't like how they looked?  If we create someone, delete them shortly after starting, and then create another one that's just slightly different, I suspect that this would count as two, which isn't really an accurate representation of the number of inquisitors that actually get used.  Although, to be fair, they were pretty clear that this data only represents "all inquisitors that have been created".  So if you created an inquisitor and deleted him/her right after the opening cinematics, s/he would count here.

I think the large demographic of female gamers in general are casuals... not necessarily RPG or action adventure fans.

And no I am not one of those casual gamers.
