Well I understand thwt some people might like the game.
However:
To say you LOVED DA:Origins and are happy with this game... That is not logical because if you really LOVED Origins you would be upset losing so many great things that made up that game; customization, atmosphere, story, characters, combat, lore, the list goes on.

That's BS... sorry man, but I loved both games for different reasons. Try to put that in your head, we all got different tastes and all like different stuff for different reasons. Are you that narrow minded?

Indeed. That's like saying I can't like both the '90s Batman cartoon and Batman: The Brave & the Bold. Two very different shows in terms of tone and style, but both hella fun to watch.

At least we can all agree that the hair is an abomination in this game.

Right? ;)

The whiners threads are ignored by most so they try to hijacks others, just ignore them like the rest of us do and glad you enjoyed Da:I

Well, this is a feedback forum. Sure, it's being completely ignored by Bioware, but still.

What if everyone came here and said "I am 100% happy". Let's imagine a world where our feedback not only invited, but also respected. EA would say: Cool beans, let's pump out another one EXACTLY like it.

Most people don't want that. Honestly, most people want something restored which was lost and I don't believe that will happen anymore, but it might be helpful to point out where EA/Bioware stumbled so they can pay more attention to those parts the next time around.

But apparantly if you are a 100% happy customer you don't want them to change the things people on this forum are asking for. Is that the argument now?

If it is, it's a stupid argument. Non sequitur: It does not follow.

Being my first time stepping into a Dragon Age game or even a Bioware title I'm pleased to say amazing work! Haven't had but minor bugs that didn't affect my session an most the scenery is breathtaking. Combat is simple but enjoyable and I don't feel like I'm button mashing even though it has somewhat limited choices. Quests are not huge to the point that I struggle to finish an even though a few are fetch missions they don't feel entirely boring like some games (ESO). Something about this game strikes me just the right way an I would willingly buy a sequel or DLC based off what I've seen so far. (PS4 Owner)

I like it too.

DAI is the first RPG I have ever tried.  I am 36 hours in and playing the deluxe discs on an XBOX360.  I too am really enjoying the game.  There are so many different options in the game,  I can do what I want when I want--battle, make weapons, run around and see the views, dig into the storyline, get to know the characters.  Its great.  I'm not one to give 5 stars out but you could certainly add me to the currently satisfied and happy column.

I had one complete loss of audio on game start at the Storm Coast.  I resolved it by going back to a hard save.  It was distressing when it happened but easy to fix, so no lasting bitterness.

Currently my only beefs are:

 1.  No decent hair options for women.

  2. You can travel directly to places by clicking on the little tent?--yeah that would have been nice to know via one of the tips cards.

3.  I JUST figured out about two days ago that I could actually see a map of the land and where I was in it.  I have spent a whole lot of time running around wondering where I was, lol.  I know it says Quest Map, der.  But I thought that was the name for the sunburst of options, I didn't realize it was clickable!

4.  Tactile camera was introduced in the midst of being shown a whole lot in the intro.  I promptly forgot how to get to it, and when I finally found it again via bing, (NOT the guide) it is still confusing.

That's it for the beefs.  Its a massive game but very enjoyable.   I expect at the rate I am going to get at least 100 hours out of it.  $60 for 100 hours of enjoyment is IMO  a good deal.

I'll tell you people why you like the game:
Hinterlands sucked. Boring. Repetition. Little story.
Everything after that is a large improvement. It's such an improvement that it makes you think you are playing a good game.
This combined with the game being loooong. Any time you willingly play a game for hours upon hours, your brain will begin to convince itself that it's enjoyable. This is called cognitive dissonance- your beliefs change to match your behavior.

That, plus good graphics and soundtrack, is enough to make people think that they are playing a good game.

I'm not trying to be condescending. The reason i know that cognitive dissonance plays such a big part is because I experienced myself:
My friend quit playing the game after one day. I kept playing it (even though i disliked it immediately to the point of revulsion) because I heard it got bettet aftet hinterlands.
I then found myself defending the game more and more. So did some introspection and realized why.

1. My brain needed to rationalize playing something so bad for 100 hours.
2. I wanted other people to play it so I would be able to talk about it with them, even though it was bad.
3. It DID get better after Hinterlands.
4. I was still in shock/denial that this is what Dragon age had stooped to.

Well I understand thwt some people might like the game.
However:
To say you LOVED DA:Origins and are happy with this game... That is not logical because if you really LOVED Origins you would be upset losing so many great things that made up that game; customization, atmosphere, story, characters, combat, lore, the list goes on.

I hope that the bugs people are experiencing are fixed. Not because I have experienced them, but because I care.

The rest is down to personal opinion and taste. Please tell me what is to be done about that, other than say perhaps this is not the game for you.

Actually, I loved this game because of the characters, the many places to explore, the lore elements and the little things that added more flavour to everything. The gameplay isn't as good as DAO and DAII, but that can easily be fixed with patches. I agree that the story isn't that good compared to the two first games, but the level of customization and personal choices brought to the conversations makes each new session even more interesting for me.

To much flavour and no food. 200h game where main story 20h. 180h. running simulator and fetch quests.

I doubt they patch no tactics. Horrible multiplayer UI. And no auto attack  Really why I must fight air.

Yes story is not as good as 2 first DA but is fine. Pacing is horrible. Because world is separated from story.

Jesus, there's a lot of ego in that post.

I like both DA:I and Origins, and prefer DA:I overall.  But I think it's stupid to say (not you, I know you're not saying this) that because someone likes Origin then they have to hate Inquisition. I don't see Origins as being the golden RPG, because it is in fact possible to have preferences.

That isn't to say that Inquisition couldn't have done some things better, but it's stupid, IMO, to dismiss it because it's not Origins 2.0

My two cents on the matter.

You cant have "smart" conversations with individuals in denial (Fanboys) or with people that only know like 20% of a topic (TC and his lack of experience in the matter).

Not necessarily. I can say I loved Rocky Road ice cream, but I still like strawberry too. They're very different things. Origins and Inquisition are very different games. I think they both have their quality moments, and both have their own separate assorted issues.
