I noticed on my KE that I stopped getting healing from kills despite the fact that my staff has 7% HoK, have you seen something similar?
Can this be fixed somehow?
Edit: I'm using the Pyre staff with HoK upgrades.

Are You positive You're landing killing blows? It gives HP to You only if You are the one to kill enemy.
My Pyre works just fine as we speak, 8% heal.
Yeah, absolutely. I'm not new to playing KE, and I usually get first or second place in most party compositions with it.
The thing is, I changed my staff now to the "Fury" (Veilstrike staff), and HoK is working just fine.

I've noticed this quite a lot on on my Keeper. I've got 7% HOK on the Mindchill staff + the 2% HOK ring. Every now and then, I'll stop getting healed while racking up up to +7 killstreaks. No healing whatsoever.
I thought it may have something to do with Barrier, but I think I may also have noticed it on the Hunter yesterday.
Pyre of the Forgotten is bugged, it shows 2 slots but there are none in the definition of the staff. That means even if you manage to equip it with upgrades, they won't have any effect in-game. Most players just lose their upgrades while trying to upgrade it. It never worked before, it's your imagination playing tricks on you. Rule of thumb: if it's purple, it only has 1 rune slots and nothing else.

and there are many unique staff get 2 slots
included deathward, blizzard's Path, staff of stasis
so do other unique weapons can also get slot for upgrade

As for KE, is it a Knight-Enchanter? Because if it is, you either made a translation mistake or you don't know as much as you say you do about this game as KE doesn't exist in MP... it's called an Arcane Warrior. I'm leaning toward a translation issue but you should be careful about the words you use if you want to be answered correctly.

It is possible that the bugs go even deeper than we think here, and allow sometimes for HoK.
I don't see what's all the drama about me calling AW KE, I simply called it how the class is called in the SP mode.
Frankly, you are trying too hard to appear like an expert on the MP, you are embarrassing yourself.
Btw, my pyre is lvl 21. How many versions of Pyre are out there? Only one?

As for AW vs KE, I'm just saying you should use the real name, you'll look better than saying "I know how to play, but I can't memorize the name of 1 of the 12 characters...". Trying to pin on me your mistake is just juvenile on your part...
I tend to agree. The MP characters are very different from the SP characters. The trees you choose from don't branch the same way in MP as they do in SP, not to mention the abilities in SP that just don't show up in MP.

Yes, HOK enchantment works well with Pyre of the Forgotten. IMO, there is nothing wrong with upgrading unique weapons. What Amelia wrote is irrelevant as it might have been just some conceptual thinking on her part and not what actually has been implemented.
Also, there is no point in focus gain enchantment on weapons in MP. Bioware pls fix.

Another unique staff which has all three upgrade slots is Deathward. I threw some Heal on Kill upgrades onto mine and tested it moments ago. It works perfectly fine.

I play on PC, just in case its different for console.
I've noticed that heals don't always trigger if I kill something with a chain lightning without hitting it with normal staff attacks. As long as I finish with other attacks or a normal attack, it usually works.
There's a post on the forum from BWEAmelia about a staff not being "upgradable". She explains there shouldn't be any upgrades for unique staves by design and what the guy was seeing was a "graphical" bug. Does she have all the answers, I doubt it, but that seemed to me relatively logical. In any case, I've never seen HOK fail on me on solos which is the only valid test. Testing it in groups is prone to errors and misinterpretation as health bars are far from being very accurate...
I won't name names since whenever I name certain people, if only to call them out on a lie, the post magically gets deleted. Now that having been said I had (until I broke it down by accident) Deathward which allowed me to upgrade the grip and blade and those upgrades took and applied the correct bonuses. My guess is that the left hand doesn't know what they right hand is doing.
To address your issue with HoK I have not noticed any issue since the patch with it and I have several things with HoK such as Caliban and the 5% ring among others. All work without issue. Now that having been said they stated they addressed the key not dropping, it still doesn't drop at times but I cannot say if this happens less than it used to as it is too early to tell for me but fact is it still happens. Another fun one is rampage not healing, they fixed this alright but probably not in the way we expected or they intended. It doesn't heal at all anymore. So kudos to the testing team on this one....oh wait.

HoK somtimes wont heal on kill. Not sure what causes it.
