I'm currently still on my first play-through as a female Qunari rogue, and I'm already thinking ahead to my second character. I've read a lot about the different storylines that can occur depending on your class and race, and I've already decided to go with elf next time.

But what would be a more satisfying class to play as a female elf - rogue or mage?

A rogue can deliver some really awesome critical damage once you get their abilities powered up. And I do love going stealth. But a mage might be fun to play.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I've played an elven mage and an archer rogue. Both were fun in different ways. I'd say elven mage has the most access to story content if that matters to you, both in quests and with special dialogue options but it's not a huge difference. If you like crits, end-game my mage had 50% chance and 120% crit damage. Most of it comes from gear in this game rather than class or stats.
