Amazing response. Thank you for your contribution. Come on all, let's continue to defend book burning!
Thank you. I gave your post every ounce of consideration it was due. I hope you have enjoyed your time in the limelight.

I think a second thread might go down soon.

I'm so glad the community supports book burning. So nice to see.

jesus not this guy again
"book burning" ? give me a break
thanks for the laugh at least but you are trying too hard
It is, actually. If the thread was simply locked, it wouldn't be. But completely removing it so nobody can even view it? Yea, that's about the same as burning books.
That's an unfair comparison, books ussually contain something worthwhile
Hey, OP, I've got an idea: Go test your theory on Freedom of Speech. Head out to your local theater, wait until about half way through the movie, and yell "FIRE". Actually, don't do that. You'll be arrested, and convicted. You see, your rights end where other's rights begin. If you had simply asked "Why aren't devs posting in this forum?" and left it at that, that thread might still be around. But we both know that that's not what you did. You took the same approach to that thread that you take in the one I linked earlier in this thread. You threw out every abusive thing you could think of short of insisting they die in a fire, and now you can't figure out how your violations of the ToS for the forums weren't ignored, this time? I've had posts edited by mods and Allan, on occasion, so perhaps they felt like leaving the thread up with all the vitriol was going to require far more time editing than simply removing it.
You see, contrary to what you seem to believe, this is a privately owned forum. We have no rights here. Being here is a privilege that can be removed at any time, for any reason, or no reason, at the whim of BioWare, or their appointed representatives. As someone that claims to have been a moderator on a forum, I would presume you'd know that, since I was a moderator on an MMO forum, and I do know that.
And yet if it did violate ToS it surely would have been locked and a reason given, right? Not just disappeared into oblivion because "im a mod and I disagree". It's completely irrelevant how I chose to approach the subject and yet factually based that I was silenced, repressed and violated! And as privately owned as this forum may be, it's so refreshing to see that the fine members of this wonderful community accept and agree with... the burning of books.
And yet if it did violate ToS it surely would have been locked and a reason given, right?
Obviously not.
So this thread was brought to my attention. Your thread was indeed hidden, and upon reading the thread I support that decision. Your post was not in any way cosntructive, but rather used to making disparaging remarks both towards Electronic Arts as well as BioWare while disparaging members of the community as being solely bags of money that we seek to exploit.
It's unacceptable and violates rules #2 and #3 in the site rules found here: http://forum.bioware...c/3-site-rules/
To be perfectly frank, that the thread was only removed may have been lenient. To then create this thread to accuse us of book burning is further unacceptable and this thread is now also closed.
This thread was removed at the same time as I locked it. I'm returning it simply to show my response.
There is plenty of opinions on these boards that are not supportive of the game, BioWare, and so forth. They can be done without insulting us or other posters.
