Hope it at least fixes the bug where some parts of the level don't load and I'm stuck in an unfinished level while apparently my teammates had the area load for them.

It's not so much "radio silence" as "being on vacation because finishing a LARGE game is hard." - Mike Laidlaw on Twitter
Being a professional programmer myself, I agree finishing a LARGE game is hard. You have all my sympathy for that, it's a really great game so you can be proud of your work.
On the other hand, if we all went on vacation for 3 weeks after the release of our new module and the thing crashed 20% of the time for thousands upon thousands of our users, we'd be sued, not paid by our clients until it's fixed, brought back from vacation, we'd sure have a very serious talk from our bosses and some might be fired. But I'm very glad for you Bioware already had our money so those things don't apply to you... ![]()
Let's be professionals here, we don't need marketing, we don't need bullshit either. What we need is someone present to really engage with your clientele. We need someone that will lay out things as they are, someone that won't burst into tears when someone else is... let's say less polite than he should. Dust out BroJo from Edmonton if need be! I don't care some information isn't accurate, just tell us what you know to the best of your knowledge and be present to answer question. This very simple thing called "support" would go a long way to reduce the amount of negativity on these forums.

But... but... nasa screwed up once so we get a free pass
^^^
and that's the kinda of cheap shot that probably discourages Bioware employees from posting here...
As ThirdRace said, if we got information regularly, even just "yes we are doing stuff", it wouldn't feel like we're being ignored.
Personally i think DAMP has some fundamental design issues, and my hope for a good skill-ish based co-op game is going to be towards something new: like say Helldivers, rather than DAMP getting all the support and changes it needs.
Arrowhead plz!!!

Im not really bothered at this point. Ive had more than enough patience for a fix, or even word of a fix. I played some me3mp, civ and minecraft and my god the difference in playing experience. No crashing, no game breaking bugs, nothing. It was so awesome to get to focus on the gameplay rather than 'will the key drop this round?'
Its the attitude bioware takes that discourages me from being polite and understanding towards them and its the same attitude that discourages me from spending money on their products.
If angry users offend bioware enough to stop them posting on theor own forums, then they need to either stop making excuses for their shortcomings and own it or just simply grow thicker skins.

- PS 3 and 360 versions of the game are virtually unplayable (I'm somewhat relieved that I decided not to get the game for 360 because of this.)
Bit of an exaggeration, the only issues i found on the 360 version were the mosaic pieces and solas' quest and that was a full 150hr playthrough.

It took a while, but it seems like EAware has finally turned you into a cynical ex-fan of bioware.
Oh behalf of your old nemesis Sir Jessku and myself: Welcome to the club.
