So, i've played ME3 three times by now, but i don't remember which squadmates are better lore/dialogue wise for the DLC.

 

I've done the asteroid already with my LI (Tali) and Garrus.

 

I know that there will be 2 more locations. Some people said i should bring James on the harvester/mountain area because he does some funny stuff and he fix something and Liara because it makes sense since she is an archeologist and it is a dig site or something.

 

For the third part i think i should bring my LI and the other squadmate idk exactly, i would like Garrus but i've read somewhere that he acts like almost your LI in some parts, is this true?

PR: My LI is Tali and my Shepard is a Soldier lvl 60 with heavy weapons (Claymore V, BW V, Particle Rifle V, etc.) and i just want lore/dialogue wise, idc for combat/strategy, altough INSANITY is kinda harsh sometimes.

For the last one, since your LI is Tali, it is best to bring EDI with you, without giving away too much, let's just say there's a scene where it is best for your LI to do certain actions, but the game don't always select your LI, if you bring anyone other than EDI, they might take Tali's place to take action in that scene.

If your LI is Liara, do not bring Kaidan to the final mission. He will run out and grab Shepard instead of Liara. I ended up using Javik as the 2nd team mate because I knew he wouldn't risk his life for some silly primitive.

 

James should definitely go on the 2nd mission. Makes continuity easier for what follows.

I always take EDI and James. They both have business in the laboratory, so I'll just think of this as a Shepard, EDI & James exlusive adventure...

Your LI and Javik. Javik has got some awesome dialogue in the DLC,and overall fits well in the storyline.

James(After the lab Part), EDI (because of the investigation), Liara(one mission, I think...) because of the whole Archeologist thing.
