A bunch of my friends have the same issue. There's no fun grinding stats until they fix it

I've just promoted 2 characters (Archer and Elementalist) and I got my attribute points but I didn't get any Prestige whatsoever.
So far Bioware owes me 5 Prestige points, 2 from Promotions and 3 from Weekend Challenges.
I will keep them updated, someone has to do something about this absurdity.

I've been getting Prestige points w/o an issue on PC, though I've had several games where there were no medals shown at the end of the match. I can live without the medals, though it's nice to see.

Without the medals, it's so hard not being able to tell just how badly I'm dominating these PUGs.

It was definitely functional after the weekend event started for me.  Haven't played on the 17th though, so maybe it's messed up now.

 

Have to say I love your avatar, I see that and all I can think of is Nuklear Power....did you get that Armor of Invincibility?

No prestige earned here.  And cannot complete the weekend events anymore.  I completed the maul event earlier, but my swords event is locked at 22/100 kills - even though I just got a gold medal for 72 sword kills last operation.  Between the rubber banding and not being able to complete events/prestige this weekend has almost been a wash in DAMP for me unfortunately.

C'mon, isn't this happening at all to you nor to anyone you know?
I know that most players out there are facing some problems with Prestige, but at least among the ones I play regularly with, I only know about the OP other than myself who have come across this issue to this degree.
No Prestige gain whatsoever, neither by Promoting nor by Completing Challenges, isn't it something to be p*ssed off about especially on a weekend for someone whose gaming hours are limited?

I know, I am making too much drama. For the first couple of hours after I realized I was having this problem while other friends of mine were ascending through the Leaderboards, I wasn't happy at all. But I guess I can be fine stuck at 336 Prestige.
I don't think there are prospects of this bug being fixed anytime soon - if at all - but certainly life goes on.

Yeah, prestige does seem to work, got my commendation chests and everything. There's just no breakdown of kills and whatnot by the end of the match. From what I've been seeing the bigger issue is with the leaderboards rankings.

 

I'm just gonna stop playing until this gets resolved. Less hassle that way.

I took a screenshot of scoreboard yesterday to see if anyone was getting prestige.

The funny thing is the only one top 25 who got prestige is anilinov1 who won 7 points while everyone was bugged for hours, how strange... makes you wonder by what hack he win prestige.

Come on.... top 3 guys never played a public game (i played a lot and asked people who played a lot, no one ever saw them) and are probably cheating in privates since start to have such a growth.

 

Then i typed "anilinov dragon age" on google and all results are about anilinov asking about how to cheat in the game lol....

On XB1 it only shows the top 100.

 

I can't imagine that being of very much interest to very many people surely? 

(well 100 obviously, but that's such a fraction of the player base)

The funny thing is the only one top 25 who got prestige is anilinov1 who won 7 points while everyone was bugged for hours, how strange... makes you wonder by what hack he win prestige.

Come on.... top 3 guys never played a public game (i played a lot and asked people who played a lot, no one ever saw them) and are probably cheating in privates since start to have such a growth.

Yeah, i was talking about rankings on PC.

Since they are still not banned, i guess indeed not many players cares about cheaters, or just don't notice them since they are smart enough to do it in privates to try to hide it.

At least they dont ruin the game for other players that way.

There's nothing wrong with reporting something isn't working. There's nothing wrong with finding fun in piling up those Prestige point either. I get it, people have different goals and find fun in different things. I'll never argue for or against something that is subjective. If someone is saying pink's the best color ever, well whatever man I don't care, it's subjective, it's personal taste, there's no logic about it so no need to argue.

I only posted because of the drama you sprayed all over your post like it was the end of the world. It was out of perspective, too emotional. I don't know you for being like that, all the games we played together with Drasca were pretty funny, logical and on point. I was very surprised to see your post but then again I sometime get too emotional too so I can understand slipping once in a while... and I couldn't resist taunting you a bit

My guess is Bioware's aware of the problem by now and they judged it wasn't sufficiently urgent to call all hands on deck to solve it as soon as possible. They'll probably wait until Monday to check what's wrong with the system. They'll fix it, run an SQL command to adjust the Prestige points for every users and call it a day. And it's perfectly normal.

that some ppl don´t get it.. maybe some ppl playing this mp just because of the leaderboard... and it is annyoing when your bugged while some others arent.

I was temporarily distressed beyond reasoning. Your post made me see it so.

I truly hope this issue gets fixed and the Prestige points restored with no loss from Promotions, but I am skeptical it will happen too soon. Bioware has allowed so many other bugs to go on, this isn't a very pressing one.

The Medals will probably get fixed though.
