Really, i don't know if it was just me but Elizaveta was perfect for the job, and the lyrics were also great, really added to the role playing experience listening to songs about what happened or my companions. That said i have some suggestions and questions

 

1 - Who holds the rights to the songs? because you can't find them in the OST or in Elizaveta's youtube, spotify or whatever. This should be released in some official way instead of youtubers that captured the song.

 

2 - I want more, i know we will end up with a Weapon/Armor pack DLC or whatever at some point (because it is cheaper), but at least for me, a Bard's DLC of sorts, with new songs and some bard related items perhaps, would be MUCH cooler, and i'd totally buy that.

 

3 - I wish there were more things in the Tavern, i mean, not even a merchant? Or an option to buy drinks for everyone like on previous dragon age games, that shouldn't be hard to make. 

 

4 - Mini-games! I might be alone in this, but it would be really cool to have some sort of mini-game on dragon age, would be awesome if that arrow contest for example really happened in some way. don't know if it can be done on Inquisition now. but the ideas are there, wicked grace, whatever it was i played with cullen (was it chess?), things like that would be fun to do in game when you want to stop killing demons for a few minutes and not leave the game. 

 

And if you think made up mini-games suck, play some fallout caravan, that thing is pretty fun after you understand it, and it's not even a real game.

 

Anyway, that's some of my suggestions for inquisition or the next game, what you guys think?

Not just you many board members have said just as much.  I hadn't heard her music until this game.  Now a fan.  

 

If you haven't seen this yet.  There is also a faster electric version.

 

 

I just wish the songs were included in the soundtrack in the digital deluxe version.

I like these ideas! I've always thought Bioware games could always use more opportunities to hang with the companions without necessarily having all the doom-and-gloom stuff everywhere all the time. The Wicked Grace scene was one of my favorites in the game. I'd love to see more moments like that.

I especially like the song "Sera".

I wish there was more than one tavern. And that they were like the taverns in the Witcher 2. Even (vanilla) Skyrim had livelier taverns.

yea, even the bars at fallout new vegas you could find a couple of caravan players to bet, drink, get some quests (and they had a casino as well, that was fun)

But i feel this game put it on the right track, just hope they don't abandon it.

 

Sometimes i'd talk to sera or bull just because they were in the tavern and i wanted to listen to some songs. (ended up loving both  )

In one of the comments, she mentioned that they did an acoustic home recording of Sera was Never also.  But I haven't been able to find it.  If anyone does run across it, please post it.

Actually the little out door bistro in Val Royauex, the songs are played in french sometimes.  Supposedly, all 10 tavern songs are recorded with french versions.  I've heard 5 or 6 of them on you tube.
