My list of best and worst dressed companions of the Dragon Age series, narrated by Vivienne:

The bottom three:

Isabella

Don't get me wrong here, I am all for a female using her body for empowerment and I don't believe a woman should cover up. But it is a matter of esthetics, there´s a difference between tastefully seductive (like myself) and...just, hoochy couture...

I am sorry my dear, but something either needs to be added or come off. And the do-rag does you no favours, swashbucklers is so fourth blight! Isabella my darling, you are out, auf wiedersehen!

Anders

Since you have spent a considerable amount of time in Ferelden I understand that taste does not come naturally to you, and ferelden mages are sadly some of the worst fashion victims out there. Just so much fur, someone in the circle tower must have had a thing for bears. Then there´s that greasy ponytail, which along with the fur just makes you look like a Lowtown pimp (further emphasized by the previously mentioned person that you keep company with). I adore your passion for the poor, the refugees and the destitute, but Anders dearest, just because you work with them, doesn't mean you have to look like them.

Sera

I am trying so hard to see this as quaint or exotic, the hair, the ill-matched dresses, but I am sorry it is just a wreck. It´s like an elven alienage, as much as you can sympathize with the people within considering their conditions, in the end it is just a mess where you step in filth wherever you go. Darling, you are just not excellent at killing things with your arrows, you slaughter fashion and good taste wherever you go as well.

Now the top three:

Dorian

As you are in fact an apostate, tevinter magister, your head should be severed from your body and mounted on a spike. But oh, such a pretty head that would be. There is not a single item, accessory or curl on your body that isn't a result of hours of careful evaluation and thought in front of the mirror. I am so happy you rebelled against that dreadful Tevinter fashion and aquired some proper taste.

Aveline

Surprising as it may seem, I do have a weak spot for the knight in shining armor, and you my dear, pull it off better than anyone out there. It takes a stoic character with dignity like yourself to properly fill a shiny armor. You have come to terms with and understood where your esthetic works, you will never pull off a pretty dress or a frilly hat, steel is your proper element and you stay in your element.

Shale

I suppose it is not actually an attire, but the rock and crystals thing is just so avant garde and esoteric I just had to put you in there. There´s something so raw and organic about it all. And I understand that you can change the crystals in there, meaning that there is room for esthetic flavour. What is your favourite my dear? I personally believe you would look dashing in red lyrium, but I suppose that carries all sorts of potential problems down the road.

You channeled Vivienne perfectly. With that being said, I agree with you 100%.
