Yeah, this annoys me, I've searched all over Val Royeaux which is where I assume it should be and can't find it, I'm coming to the sad realisation that it is missing, sad times I'm 105Hours in and all Josie will let me do is hold her hand... my Inqusitor needs some loving.

I'm quite disappointed in female playable characters, Cassandra is a great replacement for Aveline but there are no hotties obviously IMO, in Dragon Age Origins we had, Morrigan and Leliana, In DA2 we had both Isabella and Merrill, this time we have just Sera, Vivienne who seems very snobbish(probally a good replacement for Wynne) and thats it, seems really unbalanced(6 men V 3 Women), I really like the male companions Dorian, Cole and The Iron Bull are almost constantly in my squad... Glad I picked a female Inqusitor or I'd have no eye candy during the gameplay sections.

When Scout Harding is the best choice out of all of them and you can't even bump uglies with her.... unfuckingbelieveable.

Josie has long hair... yeah.. nah. Can't get into her. I dunno if it's the outfit or the accent or what. (I found myself attracted to her, only when the envy demon imitated her).

 

I don't care about hair length, just so long as they have a sexy personality and not too butchy, like Sera.

Butchy... and I'm not knocking it or anything, because I'm halfway there myself. I'm just not sexually attracted to the style... but anyway, butch and butchy basically describes a woman with masculine features. Short hair, etc (though not always). You could consider Cassandra "butch" but she isn't a lesbian so... that stereotype went down the drain.

 

Cassandra, while not too bad, is a little more robotic and possibly "butch" for my tastes. At least with Dragon Age Morrigan had some personality but I think they were trying to be more diverse with their selection of female candidates this game. It's a damn shame Harding wasn't given a chance :/

...back to topic. I don't even think the sole reason for not including brothels was bioware trying to be politically correct. Inqusition doesn't really have that much places which are crowded so including brothels would be justified. It's only Redcliffe and the small part of Val Royeaux. Redcliffe never had one and Val Royeaux is completely lifeless, so a brothel would be somehow out of place.

I think this is a case of PCing it up, but that's an inevitable result of gaming becoming for a wider audience and not just us horny white dudes. I hadn't even noticed the brothels and desire demons were gone, now that you mention it.

Brothels as places for quests, fine. Brothels just so you can spend the night with a prostitute? Eh... I don't need that.

 

They probably wanted to avoid a situation where the local brothel advertises its services with "The Inquisitor fucks here, too!"
