On the 360 version

Been playing the game for 50 plus hours, but never noticed how wonky the AI companions can be until this part

Trying to set Tactics so that my AI partners attack only one Spirit at a time, and so I have tried

Defensive

Aggressive

Attack Character controlled by player

etc

I have also tried: attack of target of controlled party member, and Stern just goes off killing any enemy. Frustrating

Thanks

I am unsure about the 360, but the following works with the PC.

Below your potrait are two small buttons. Click the left one. It should change to a single diamond. Now click on the spirit you want attacked. All of your companions should now move to attack it. Rinse and repeat for each new target or if any of your friends stray off of the one true path.

Yeah that is the same as the = key in the default layout, select all for the party.  I have no idea if that functionality is on xbox.

But the tactic "enemy: target of controlled party member -> attack" should work, at least it works pretty well on PC.  But they will not necessarily immediately attack the target if it is buried under other tactics, which it probably will be since generic attack commands probably should have lower priority.

Aggressive, Defensive, etc mainly depends on what they do when searching for a new target, or the initial target on their own, not when you are issuing commands or using tactics for attack.
