I've redone my Hero of Ferelden in DA:I character creator. I've also made a version of him nowadays (9:41, during Inquisition) to compare with him when he was 25 (9:30, during the Fifth Blight).

Maybe in a future we have the chance to recreate him/her officially for a DLC/Expansion, who knows...

I've tried it before, and long since decided attempting to recreate my Warden is an exercise in futility. Oh well. :S

 

 

I'm gonna be hooped if we ever end up having to recreate them for real. :S

This is only half accurate because, rather than an exact replica, I did what you did. It's what would he look like now, in-game timeline-wise. Since 10 years have passed between games, and he’s not exactly a stress-free individual lol.

All those modded hairstyles really highlight just how awful the DA:I hair is. It came out in 2014, they shouldn't have been ripping assets from Morrowind or Final Fantasy 8.

Solona Amell - went back to the circle and had a nice quiet life with her books, never adventuring again until she "disappears".

 

 

 

 

Kalli Tarbis - after the nasty archdemon clawed her pretty face she stayed with the Wardens and had a hard life killing things and the taint is taking its toll.

Before Christmas I brought Steam version (tribute to my nostalgia). 

What can I say: It have BETTER hairstyles compared to DAI..... + I can mod it

Dat Wynne... Yeah, my Warden was stumbling upon all those wonderful bottles and she could not resist. no more dragon blood though, she remembered all too well how it ended for her the first time she drank some dragony (blighted, But whatever) liquids.

And I agree on the mods, I modded the hell out of skyrim which was the only thing that made that playable. And those nice origins mods. It's hard to please all people, and mods are a way of doing that.

I just think it's better when games keep to their identity. If I wanted skyrim instead of dragon age I'd play skyrim. More storytelling for me plz: )and Yeah, I'm a grumpy oldtimer:)

I still can't understand how DAI devs managed to take every-freaking thing that I hated from it and overlook the best (in my humble opinion, of course).

 I love Skyrim! I love all the different cities where every NPC has their own dialogue, some long and some short. I love the long and involved questlines like the Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, and Companions. I love the scenes you could come across (ex: the assassin in Markarth who tries to kill Margaret and if you notice him, you can save her). The combat style in Skyrim is the kind I like (player skill/reflex based rather than character skill based) and being able to combine abilities and make your own class like using archery + stealth + magic The things that sucked in Skyrim "hey take a look at this bounty posting the Jarl's men dropped off" then go kill some nameless bandits or "please get me a mammoth tusk so I can be a merchant" were the only thing that was put in DA:I (aside from the bigger maps).

 

 BW made quests not only reliant on notes found on the ground, but made it that the notes themselves are 80% of the quest (with the other 20% being walking to the next note, and killing generic trash mobs along the way). In Skyrim notes and diaries were backed up by tangible things, for example there was one quest where you could read the diaries of this crazy mage who had been perving on girls in a village and was chased away. He took up residence in this cave by the ocean and you learned from his diary that he'd tamed the draugr and was having sex with them ( ) you learn about the experiments he's doing and that later on he started murdering girls and binding their spirits while somehow sexually gratifying himself with them. The cave is full of female draugr and ghosts and when you find the guy, there is a spirit standing tamely next to him but if you sneak up and steal the crystal binding it then it will immediately attack the guy. You then see a room filled with snow and the bodies of a bunch of women of varying races. This is one of the more mediocre side quests in Skyrim but it was better than any of the ones I found in Inquisition. It's around the same level of depth as the undisputed best (non companion) sidequest of DA:I the Crestwood undead one.

 

At least the horses are immortal in DA:I

Redoing my One True Warden to see what she'd like in the new engine? That... might've been the first thing I did after launching DAI. Maybe >_>



sadly the starter shape/controls differences were bit too much to get the nose and eyes right. and the eyebrows. and the ears. Ah well.
