there's a three-way struggle between the quirks of each CC, the interest in staying as true to the original design as possible, and the interest in keeping to the heart of the original idea. Griffon is my canon warden. i had the idea of making him soleful and pretty, but with exaggerated "french" features that made him memorable. I tried recreating him with the DA2 cc, which was extremely difficult. and i've only taken one shot at him so far with the DAI cc. I'll probaly iterate it a few more times

I've tried it before, and long since decided attempting to recreate my Warden is an exercise in futility. Oh well. :S

 

 

Screw it, tried my hand at an actual ten years later version. Don't think she'd have aged that much at a ripe young age of 34-ish. The taint just made all of her beautiful hair fall out.

Read something similar recently in Dragon Age: The Calling (novel), but was circumstantial for the character in question, her hair grew back along the years. That won't probably happen to your Warden :\

I don't want to sound mean, but if you really can't see a difference between these two pictures then it makes your opinion about BF3 looking better kinda... easy to dismiss

i think you did a great job!  captured her very well, especially considering the challenges!

the only advice i see to give is, maybe her eyebrows couldcome up a bit? then again, as you say, it's been ten years

Well thanks then! I thought it was a lost cause...   Maybe I'm just so used to her dao look?
You're right, I tried to move the eyebrows more but it gives her a surprised/questioning look and I rather kept that dao bland look. xD But now that I look at it, I'd definitely change the nose bridge size to be more wider.

This thread is actually a pretty good idea and gives me practice if we ever meet our Warden again. (Fingers crossed!)

 

So here's Gwion Mahariel, my dual wielding Champion Reaver as seen in Origins.

 

 

 

Here he is in Inquisition. Since they removed dual wielding as an option for Warriors (which I find really annoying) I made him a dual wielding rogue. And as I am posting this I just realized I forgot to go through the Head & Ears section to change things there... One day I'll go back and do it properly.

You're really good at capturing the Warden's look, I'm impressed. Ariadne is my favorite of the three I think.

As I could not find a similar tattoo, so I added some more scars to give him a more rougher look.

 

I am not good with CC so for me this is somehow the best I could do.....(I plan to retouch him a bit with the Emporium)
