I suppose that the people who saw this could have been the team you went to fight Corypheus with, since you send them running before the dragon shows up to destroy the catapult? Of course, what's weird about that is why didn't they stay to help you fight Corypheus, unless they were cut off from you and forced to peg it?

Well Cullen's plan was just for the IQ to be alone to distract him and I guess it was more important for your companions at that point to run off to help others? And the IQ does tell them to GTFO.  Less loss of life I guess.

Pretty sure that there were conversations at the camp after Haven that happened off screen before the IQ passes out, where the IQ explains everything and tells them about Cory.  He/she says "they've been at it for hours" when the advisors are arguing so they were awake before. And I could see the party companions describing him to the rest of the group.

The Inquisitor shouts "Run!" and then the dragon bellows evil dragon evilness between you and your three companions (blackish fire, IIRC?).  If you have one of the mages with ice spells, it's a bit of dumb, but at this point you're Just Random Person With Anchor rather then Lord/Lady Inquisitor of Awesome and you haven't really had time to get really close to any of your companions, so I suppose it makes sense.

Still a bit mean, but, hey, I would have ran, too...

People do survive avalanches without the benefit of magic or red lyrium powers.

Obviously not all of Corypheus army gets under the avalanches, since he still has massive forces afterwards. Samson/Calpernia were probably standing in the part of the army that wasn't hit by the avalanche.
