Arlathvehn - Once every decade all the Dalish clans convene at a single location to trade off their excess mages and to discuss the direction or progress of the Dalish people. Dalish politicking and intrigue. Clans arguing amongst each other over their policies. Others hoarding secret knowledge instead of sharing. And with Fen'Harel the Dread Wolf back on the prowl what better setting or event to continue his story arc is there?

Ring of the Ferryman - Every appointed Archon is given a ring bearing the image of a hooded ferryman. Every archon since Darinius the Dreamer has worn such a ring on the third finger of his right hand. A new ring is cast in gold for each archon upon coronation with his name arround the image relief. By tradition, upon his death, the ring is ceremonially crushed in front of the assembled magisters, so that no one may use the power of the archon until a new one is crowned. I want to see the magisters crush that ring as they get to squabbling over a successor.

Legion of the Dead Funeral - I'd like to see Dwarves from all castes and walks of life as they somberly join the Legion. It's both their induction and funeral and would probably a sight to see. A bunch of Dwarves singing in their ancient tongue as they put their loved ones 'to rest'.

What events from the lore would you like to see and why?

The first one sounds like it could make for the Dalish version of "wicked hearts and wicked minds".

I'd love a Dwarf-themed game/expansion, and that Legion of the Dead funeral could serve as an excellent starting off point for the game's events.

The Titans

Scratch that, eherm. Seeing a Kal-Sharok dwarf they're supposely different than Orzammar dwarves.

Yeah, they teased Arlathvehn quite a bit. I think Fenris even mentions it during DA2. I want to see it. I want to see how radically different the clans are from each other so people could finally stop lopping the Dalish into one neat category. Because they might as well be nations unto themselves.

?

Its something that came from dialogue with Kieran, you know how he tells the Qunari "that the blood doesn't belong to them"? He tells something to a dorf inq

Inq: "Damn. you got me. I was trying so hard to be taller"

Kieran:"But you can't be taller. Not without the Titans."

More mystery that's for sure.

It's most likely linked to what Dagna talked about, about how she felt bigger when she studied whatever it you found for her in that war table mission.

Right, the lyrium vapors temporarily linked her to the Stone.

Maybe Cory belonged to those "Titans."

Remember how you wondered about his height?

But then Kieran also mentioned the Titans to my Elfquisitor...?

Is this another piece of lore we've never seen before? Something about the origins of the Qunari race maybe?

Doesn't Dagna say as much?  That she was studying some of the lyrium or red lyrium (I forget which), and that she felt like she was one with "the Stone"?

Who knows, maybe I'm going crazy.

After all the stuff with Solas I'm intrigued by elven history. Like, who were the elven gods'Forgotten Ones really? How/why did Fen'Harel seal them away? Although the games going so far back into history seems pretty unlikely.

She doesn't know what it is, and she certainly didn't say it was lyrium vapors. She also didn't say she was "one with the Stone," she says she became "that other thing." Whether that is the Stone or if the Stone is a part of that is never specified or said.

Yeah I just rewatched it, she speculates if the way she felt was how the Stone felt, if it can even feel.

I want to see the Merdaine. Apparently it's a vast rock formation in the middle of frigging nowhere the Anderfels with an enormous relief of Andraste carved into the face, holding an eternal flame. I'm imagining something like the Buddhas of Bamiyan or the Behistun Inscription.

It apparently cameo'd in The Last Flight if I'm not mistaken.

I want to see how the Tevinter Magisters keep their Templars under control.

Is it naked self-interest and political alliances on the part of the leader, or political indoctrination to make the Gestapo proud? Are the most trusted of the Templars trusted because they meekly toe the line, or is a bit of brainwashing and blood magic used to ensure compliance? Do the Magisters keep the Templars as disposable thugs, or professional enforcers expected to make up the lyrium difference through competence? Does a competent professional Templar raise through the ranks, or get smashed before it can become something more?

I like to think my closest analog in Thedas would be a Tevinter Templar, but I'd really like to know more.
