"You wanted into the Fade?"
- The Inquisitor

*Facepalm

I know this was supposed to come off as an ironic twist of fate for Cory, but it just fell flat and left alot of people thinking that we gave Cory exactly what he wanted...

How would you choose to end Cory? And if you had one, what would your catchphrase be.

I would make it so Cory could never go to the fade, and lose all desire to do so while robbing him of the gift that made him a magister in the first space: The Rite of Tranquility for him. No catch phrase needed

I'd have devoted much more research and resources to finding out everything I could about the ancient magisters and the legend of them entering the Golden City, It sucks that you can recruit Erasthenes (or whatever his name is) and then not speak to him at all!

It just seems like you're flying blind against this guy most of the time, understanding basically nothing about what he is, who he is or trying to find some way to attack his beliefs as a cornerstone of his power is clearly the confidence he has in what he is claiming to have seen and done. I would have been much more proactive in reaching out to anyone and everyone who would listen in tevinter, trying to find some people who could fill in the gaping holes in what we knew of this whole business.

Plus, I'd have asked the Dalish Keeper Howen about the Orb, and asked him to put the word around that we need whatever info the Dalish have on this thing. I'd also tell Solas to stop messing me about, because I was convinced he knew more about the Orb than he was saying. I'd offer him the simple choice - cough up the info, or pack up your snide comments and hit the trail, shinetop!

This should've been a judgement scene at Skyhold.

Such was the silly nature of the whole Trebuchet business, the first time I played through that scene, I was genuinely expecting it to end with my character firing herself to safety! And the actual events aren't much more sensible...

I would want to ask, "But why?!" They don't let you ask enough of the right questions in Inquisition.

...exactly how it happened in the game? No, not an option? Probably then 'say hello to my little friend' then zap him into the fade.

If the Inquisitor actually did that, I would have turned the game off and never returned, of course after having a good laugh about it, then lamenting the end of the series. Nothing the Inqusitor would do would be nearly as cartoonish as that.

The inquisitor opened a fade rift inside Corypheus to make sure he cannot reassemble himself

I would tear his soul apart using magic. Something which is possible using DA magic and which would also have prevented him from jumping into a new host irregardless of the dragon thing. Or failing that, I'd stick him into a statue and dump it into the middle of the ocean. We saw this as a solution in DA2 so it is quite possible. in no way is the host jumping thing actually a problem even though the game tries to make you think it is because there are several ways of dealing with this that we've already been introduced to.
