Make Cory tranquil and task him with the hourly bathing of Xenon the Antiquarian.

I would end him exactly how it was done. Take away his ability to body swap and then kick his ass. He wanted in to the fade WITH a body, not as a spirit.

As much as I'd want to turn him tranquil, if only for the Tevinter fable with the creepy rhyme that scares their kids, the pragmatist in me would simply kill him. Though, I might take his dead body and toss it into a magma/lava pit for good measure, because you can never be too careful in that regard.

Sadly, my Inquisitors don't know Avernus. Leliana has mentioned him in her stories about the Warden, but not enough for them to care at all about him or his work. If it was my Wardens' decision, I would have probably sent the body to him for study. Or study it myself, in the case of my academic mage Warden.

"So much pressure, so much sickness.
It's your thinking, too much quickness.
Harrowed arrows stop your dreaming.
Outside smiling, inside screaming."

So creepy.

Hmm lets see, since i like going for unusual punishments. I would nullify his Body jumping ability and then decapitate him. I would use some sort of magic to turn him into a Headpool from Marvel or Morte from Planescape. Congrats Corypheus you're now a talking flying head that can't do jack shite and you're stuck with the inquisitor to forever remind you of your failure.

I would make it so Cory could never go to the fade, and lose all desire to do so while robbing him of the gift that made him a magister in the first space: The Rite of Tranquility for him. No catch phrase needed

But it's reversible and he is immortal.  He'd figure it out eventually - or someone else would for him.

It just seems like you're flying blind against this guy most of the time, understanding basically nothing about what he is, who he is or trying to find some way to attack his beliefs as a cornerstone of his power is clearly the confidence he has in what he is claiming to have seen and done. I would have been much more proactive in reaching out to anyone and everyone who would listen in tevinter, trying to find some people who could fill in the gaping holes in what we knew of this whole business.

Plus, I'd have asked the Dalish Keeper Howen about the Orb, and asked him to put the word around that we need whatever info the Dalish have on this thing. I'd also tell Solas to stop messing me about, because I was convinced he knew more about the Orb than he was saying. I'd offer him the simple choice - cough up the info, or pack up your snide comments and hit the trail, shinetop!

That would be an actual story! The heresy! We need explosions and buzzwords and unexpected twists because they are asspulls and stingers!

I'd invite him up to my chambers for a cup of tea and resolve the situation in a peaceful, politically correct manner.

"You wanted into the Fade?"
- The Inquisitor

*Facepalm

I know this was supposed to come off as an ironic twist of fate for Cory, but it just fell flat and left alot of people thinking that we gave Cory exactly what he wanted...

How would you choose to end Cory? And if you had one, what would your catchphrase be.

Well as far as we know he transfers his essence through the taint right? so
Step 1) Kidnap Warden
Step 2) Bind them like Corypheus did with Calpernias old master
Step 3) Lure Corypheus to me
Step 4) Kill Corypheus, have fun in your new host
Step 5) Extract as much info as possible from him
Step 6) Kill him with no tainted persons present. If he reposesses the warden corpse which just wont die then I'll have my Qunari allies lay out every barrel of explosive powder they can get their hands on around him and blow him to kingdom come

I would have him walking down the deep roads, naked, covered in tar and feathers.

...or I would just feed him to that dude who threw goats at our walls

Burn his body to ash, then seal the ashes away somewhere just in case.

I'd give him a hug and let him know that everything is gonna be alright.

Sure, sure.  Then in 10,000 years underneath some obscure chantry in some dilapidated part of some run down Free Marcher town, you get this...

Lop his head off like a common criminal before he recovers his body hopping skills, he is no god so a commoner's death should bring him down off his pedestal (a head's length to be specific).

Still need a one-liner though, maybe "say hello to Andraste for me, or whoever has her job, but in hell".  Do Andrastians even have a hell?  Eh, I'd still say it.

I would never end Corypheus. I would offer myself as a humble servant, anything against The Maker is worthy of my humiliation and submission.

Too bad the game does not allow me to =(

Personally I like how Corypheus is killed because it's poetic. He wanted into the Fade, and now he's in it…in little tiny pieces as a result of having a rift opened up inside him.
