DLC will be coming, they have not officially announced any yet. It took 3-4 months for the previous dragon age games to get DLC.

May be a bit longer this time, as the team who worked on the game said they were going to take a long break once the game was released. But, then, they may have already some content in place, I suppose.

Many people feel like we will get very little dlc, and probably no expansion.
With DA:2 we got mediocre dlc, and were supposed to get an expansion when they decided to just skip it and go straight into DA:I. Now, I'm not Bioware so I can't say this is the reason, but I feel they skipped the dlc because DA:2, which in the first few weeks sold the least of the three so far, was pretty poorly received among fans and critics. So they wanted to put it behind them and get to a new installment as quick as a possible.
On the other hand, thanks to a poor year for gaming, and pretty damn good Dragon age this time around, Inquisition sold well and received more game of the year awards than anyone else...making it a pretty big success. This makes me worry, because now I fear Bioware will want to get the next installment out while the flame is still hot. Why produce DLC which doesn't bring in much of revenue, when you could put those resources into the next game and get that out sooner? Surely this would be more profitable of the options, and is a signature EA move. However, I love and trust bioware, so I don't think this will happen, but it surely could.

Arlathvehn expansion, Kal-Sharok/the Calling expansion, or bust.
A calling expansion involving Hawke and the HOF( or if your HOF died, the one from awakening), would be a dream come true.
They could wrap up at least the story of the HOF if not Hawke as well, and could put it behind them. The longer they wait to do that, the worse it will get.

I wouldn't say no to DA4 coming out sooner.
The most likely DLC seems as if it would concern Solas, who unfortunately doesn't interest me at all. Oh well.

That's kind of selfish. And expansions/DLC's doesn't have to be focused around one character. It could be about a place or event.

Oh, I don't mind if it comes out and people enjoy it--and I imagine they will, given how popular Solas and his reveal are. I just personally am not invested in the idea.

What I'm saying is it doesn't have to be strictly about Solas and there could be more than one. Why not say what you want (forget about DA2) that could be expanded from Inquisition instead of saying what you don't want?

I would really love something with a bit of focus on the DA2 companions.
I mean, they planned on one more DLC initially, right?
There are just a few voices I'd like to hear again, if nothing else.

like many people have said in other threads expect around March-April. I can see them having an item pack dlc before that. Hopefully they patch the bugs that people seem to be having.

oh I'd hate if theyd go straight for DA4 .. leaving us hanging like that... c'mon Bioware don't do this to us ![]()
Theres tons of ways to make DAI even more enjoyable with dlcs/expansions .... Solas ... Val Royeaux was way too limited/confined ...being able to change our char's looks like with emporium in DA2 .....personally id love to see my warden/HOF ..develop the search for the calling..and some Alistair goodness *sigh.

I'd love a full expansion or, failing that, 2 or 3 decent-length DLCs (with another quest for each companion). Probably won't happen, but I can dream.

Yep, that would be cool. As discussed many times before there are a lot of difficulties in getting the Warden into a game, though I agree it would be great if they did.
In any case I probably would be happy with a good story-based expansion. I liked all the companions in their own ways, including Solas, so a storyline focusing on some of them would be welcome.

I would like to see a DLC that's about a group of people that raises up against the Divine!

I didn't get dlc for origins or DA2 until years after their release only cuz I used to not have internet, (for the longest time uugghh) I think I can wait awhile for inquisition dlc. But when it does come out, man, I know its gonna be good...it better be
What I want: Dlc about the HoF, I'm not demanding, the warden doesn't have to physically be there, maybe running around with the awakening wardens doing stuff for HoF. Something about Solas of course a possible 'wolf hunt' has already been discussed in the forums. Anything else I would still be happy with it but i think those 2 are a must for long time DA fans lol.

Here are the DLC's I'd like to see:
The Puzzle Ring of the Black Fox - It would be unexpected, and go on a fun romp, gaining the prestige that it would bring. Plus, it's something different.
Orzammar/Kal-Sharok - The human gets a great deal of focus, both in being a member of the court and the Andraste aspect of the Anchor. The Elf gets a lot of focus for the Temple of Mythal. Dwarves...are there because you could be them in the first game. Take someplace that is completely relevant to dwarves. Show me that there's more than this too. Perhaps a journey to a thaig to learn more about red lyrium, and maybe a way to purify some of it. If that works, then it could be a precursor to removing the Blight from people. Naturally, this quest would need to be done after you go to Skyhold.
Solas - The last DLC, finding Solas again, completeable only after the game is done. You don't get your party, just a crew of Cullen, Morrigan, and Leliana, complete with their own unique specializations.

^This i would to have my warden appear but too many problems. But i think it would be easier for the orlesian warden to come in because the voice would be simple french accent since were of orlesian birth( dont know about dwarfs though)

IIRC The dwarf WC from Awakening was a surface dwarf that was born (and maybe raised) in Orlais.
