I was romancing Sera, but as I got to know her more I realised I couldn't stand her so changed to Scribbles

 

Would intolerant be a good word to describe Sera? I was actually considering throwing her out of the Inquisition once or twice.

I thought it was pretty great. A perfect mix of silly/sweet. There's also some nice touches like her journal changes at times to reflect romance milestones.

I used to not like Sera, so negative and childish and she talks rubbish. But she grew on me and now I'm pursuing a romance with her as a dwarf but I'm not very far into it at all. Every time I choose 'im interested in you' she keeps saying 'lets travel around some more, we'll see.' I've done her personal quest and did pranks with her ugh

You need approval with her if she says that. If you have consistently built her approval, you can get her romance quest almost as soon as you get to Skyhold.

It might be an approval thing but also make sure you've exhausted all of her dialog wheel options on the right side.

 

Her war table missions will help with approval if you need that.

Honestly, you should never base your expectations on what some are saying on the forums, especially when it comes to characters.

I remember reading about the part where she breaks up with the inquisitor after the Temple of Mythal if you didn't agree with her. They made it sound so much worse than it actually was when I saw the video with my own eyes.
