The best thing about Sera is that she isn't perfect, doesn't try to be perfect, and that she values humour even if she doesn't know much about it early on. She's basically the type of person who's lived outside society, even though she might have been around one. That's why tolerance needs to come from your inquisitor when you romance her, to show her it's actually possible. One of the best scenes has this theme even.
Also, the game is too short to tell how this romance might end up, which is also true of several others. Some aspects of Sera should never change (because
) but I think it would be good for -her- in the long run if some other things did, that isn't part of her personality but rather the upbringing. So she doesn't have to go swearword at herself after an argument.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun with it. This was actually the reason why I liked Isabela's romance with my fem-Hawke in DA2. Not perfect, not trying to be. Good and bad things happen, but emotion is there. It's like it should be for me, to keep things interesting. No pure fairytales, for me.
