This gets me everytime. Someone makes a topic about something, and people disagree with it so they call the OP a troll. Sometimes, these people are so numerous that they completely derail the topic, forcing mods to close the discussion.
Can mod please do something about these people? Why is it allowed to call people a "troll" and to derail their topic by posting posts whose sole purpose is to turn the discussion away from the opening post? Isn't it trolling to try to bait the OP by calling him a troll and then derailing his topic?
Want an example: Here's one. I haven't read everything but the "anti-trolling" trolls start with the second post.
http://forum.bioware...-is-bad-as-da2/
Believing that DAI is as bad as DA2 is a legitimate opinion, in no way stated to anger or bait people. It is not trolling in the slightest by ANY definition, yet the "anti-troll" trolls are there being stupid jackasses and the mods do nothing about it! Isn't it trolling to call someone a troll? If someone is trolling, shouldn't the only course of acceptable action be to inform a moderator?
I am getting sick of topics getting derailed because of these stupid anti-troll trolls who believe any opinion contrary to their own is trolling and that they have the right to prevent any intelligent conversation by completely hijacking and derailing a topic. Another topic in which this happened was the topic about women being everywhere in DAI (in the Story and Character board), which was hijacked until a mod closed it.
Mods need to delete the posts of anti-trolling trolls and give them warnings or ban them. This is not what a discussion board should be, where an unpopular opinion is called "trolling" and then bullied until silence.
