Just looking at a cloud server with OVH, tempted to go windows but linux with ubuntu is probably a more stable and reliable option for a server these days. (also i plan to run a GTA server and forums)

 

 

windows server (with GUI)

or

CentOS 6

Ubuntu Server

Ubuntu Desktop

 

 

Specs will be 

 

Quad core

4 GB Ram

Yes. If you want to stick with WINE, it's rated as gold.

I'm not sure the NWN2 server runs on Linux.
