I haven't upgraded my armor in a while because I find the hunter coat to be the nicest looking armor so far. I've got many schematics for technically better armors, but only one I've seen, the dalish armor, looks like it, but I can't use that because it is elf only. Is the hunter coat the only choice for that look?
What other med armors look like the hunter coat?

Er... the dalish armor looks nothing like the hunter coat. But that is beside the point. The prowler coat, sturdy prowler coat, and superior prowler coat all have the trench coat style of the hunter coat, which I assume is the style you were shooting for. They are random tier 3 loot which can be farmed through the usual methods. Also here is a good resource for schematic images for future reference, with a warning that several schematics are not obtainable without the Cheat Engine due to either bugs or Bioware being to lazy to include them.
