I think it's pretty obvious folks at EA/Bioware have discussed the possibility, and i think we should say what we want on the subject.

As far as i love dragon age and like some mmo's, this would probably kill the franchise as we know it. There won't be a kotor after old republic, elder scrolls might be going on the same route, warcraft was killed by wow, and those are just some examples.

So, please don't do it. Just wanted to see what are your opinions on the subject, feel i'm not alone in this, and since DAI had some MMO elements, it concerns me a bit.

Likely I wouldn't want anything to do with it.

Well I'd say it's fine if there would be an experienced MMO team do make everything happen. Guys and girls that KNOW what they're doing.

Since I doubt it can happen I say "NO", too.

DAI is a single player MMO.

Realistically speaking, SWTOR is still out there (admittedly a f2p failure now) so doubt EA will launch another MMO to compete with themselves.

No, please don't turn it into a real mmo.

It isn't. http://forum.bioware...ication-of-dai/

Even if you're joking, you're going too far.

Maybe guy's worried about mosquito infestation of rural areas of Canada? You know those little flying things distract developers and we end with petty excuses instead of actual game...

Well I enjoy SWTOR so I'd probably play if they made an MMO.  However, I prefer DA in it's current form.

Yeah, mosquitos are a plague in the summer.

There is ABSOLUTELY no chance WHATSOEVER at this stage that I will even lend a single dime to EA/BIOWARE ever again. I was in SWTOR, I've bought EVERY-SINGLE-GAME legit, with almost every single DLC where applicable, and it's all well and dandy when things work, but the minute something doesn't, then you suddenly meet the other face of this lovely company, the one that treats customers like shite. Non-existence customer support, non-existent communication, comments and posts with complains being deleted and blocked, accounts being banned (not for unsavory conduct, but for posting complaints), and silent treatment. Under these conditions, and give the INDISPUTABLE FACT that a player will sooner or later need customer support in an MMO, and given that abominable attitude, also given that effectively I can't bloody play this game, let alone any future one, especially if they keep using FB3, then my response is a flat-out NO WAY JOSE, I won't even come close to an EA/BIOWARE MMO not even with a ten foot pole.

Hate it. Wouldn't buy or play such game. I downloaded that free starwars mmo game and tried it about 30min, then removed it.

DAI is too close to it already with respawning monsters/mooks and hack'n slash combat. Can't start another playthrough because of it.

I love SWtOR but hate the gameplay and sidequests of DA:I which would likely be what a DA MMO would be made of. (I read somewhere that inquisition was initially being developed as an MMO) I played ME3 multiplayer for a few hours to get a better ending but it did nothing for me. DA:I multiplayer holds no interest for me either. I wish they'd focus on the SP aspects such as choices, story, deeper sidequests, roleplaying, etc...

Eh. I'm not into the idea. I love Dragon Age and I love MMO's but I worry that a Dragon Age MMO would feel too contrived.

Well it's totally random. You can write emotional stuff and be safe just as easy as be banned for nothing.

Same here, there's plenty of MMOs out there. If I wanted to play one, I'd be doing so already.

If it went in that direction I wouldn't go with it. One of the reasons I like Dragon Age as a series is because it's not an MMO or an online-focused game. Inquisition not having any online-only trophies either is a positive thing for me.

No!

I would support them adding drop-in/drop out co-op in the main campaign, but not an MMO. Didn't they already learn their lesson with The Old Republic?

That would break my heart.

SWOTR is awesome but to tbh i dont really care at this point. If dragon age becomes an full fledged mmo then so be it, ill play when it goes free to play.

co-op in main campaing would be just awesome. it's a feature long overdue. maybe they did the multiplayer as a test.

NO!

I really dislike MMO's.

But especially when it comes to RPG's it is singleplayer all the way for me.

And it would most certainly kill the franchise for good!
