So its been 2 months since DA:I was released and we still don't have a patch for the major issues in MP.
Lets go back in 2012:
ME3 was released March 6th
resurgence, the first multiplayer DLC came out APRIL 10th!
Thats just over a month to come out with a DLC packed with content and unlocks
its been over two months since release and not only don't we have DLc but no fix for the pots or the key drops.
What's happening over there at BW? did they fire all of the MP team except 2 or three people? Did they never have any intention of creating DLC for the game?
You wonder why we don't recommend this game to friends BW? This is why.
Is it so much to ask for a ballpark release date on the next DLC? I think not
Oh how the mighty have fallen

DAMP won't have nearly as much content added as ME 3 MP did.
The classes are based off of the SP specializations, and they've already represented all of those. There aren't really any more classes they can add without creating entirely new skill trees and abilities.
Players can effectively "max their manifest" in a much shorter period of time. Once you have a top-tier weapon in every category, there's not much more to do inventory-wise, except modify multiple copies of them to have kit-specific bonuses.
They can add new maps, or retool existing ones already made for the game. They can also add enemies, although they will likely be limited to enemies that are already in the game's assets.
The only way to add significant content would involve a massive shift in their approach to MP. It would take a lot of additional investment on their part, and it's hard to see the financial motivation to do that when players can reach a point of obtaining high level blue gear and top tier armours after only a few weeks of play (and in a fraction the amount of time involved with building only the Common manifest in ME 3 MP.)

Oddles of ideas to add into multiplayer all possible. Because of people losing faith in Bioware i was forced to add in some messages i got from Amelia and Andy to show you guys there watching and looking at the ideas. One even said that some of the ideas on the list there already tinkering with atm. There are many classes that can be brought in with the skills available now but the impression i got is that there working on new trees atm.
Hope this helps bud
Edit: here ya go bud fourth post down on the first page

I didn't say they wouldn't add any content. I said there won't be as much as ME 3 MP had. I was referring to the direct comparison being made in the OP.

Fair enough the way i see it and the reason i get ticked off when people complain about when there not seeing dlcs of late.I didn't say they wouldn't add any content. I said there won't be as much as ME 3 MP had. I was referring to the direct comparison being made in the OP.
Is because
1. Multiplayer is supported by platinum and that is optional on your part so that means the dlcs are free
2. Unlike alot of games we buy that we finish in 12 hours for 60-90 dollars. I Personally got 190 hours out of sp and so far nearly 600 hours of multiplayer seems like it paid for itself in fun.
3. I would like a fix to the key glitch but unlike most i know that they have to go through abit before they come out
A. Finding the said bug by recreating the events the players are seeing
B. Finding a solution to said problem
C. Throughly testing it and to make sure it does not cause further problems
D. Then last but not least the fixes are all bundled together because console certification costs alot of money and time
If you add in the fact they work for a pay check and ea makes them take the end of the year holidays. You cant expect them to wave a magic wand and go boom all fixed.
Hope this helps open up peoples eyes:)

I get that everyone is frustrated from the lack of fixes / updates or at least communication in what the devs are working on but claiming stuff like "DAMP won't have as much content as ME3MP" like Jermiah12LGeek has stated is pure speculation. I mean if your point is that ME3MP in retrospective comparison had more DLC content out by now in it's lifespan then sure, I don't think anyone would debate that. To try and use that to justify "DAMP not having expansive content, even beyond ME3MP's measure" is just unfounded. They can certainly build new skill trees, classes, enemies, and maps, JUST like they did in ME3MP.

Could you quote the post where I complained about the lack of DLC? ![]()
I have no recollection of ever doing that.

Again, I have no recollection of ever saying that.

I'm not to bothered by bugs atm. I'm able to work around those that effect the game the most. I'm just anxiously awaiting the first DLC, to see if Bioware has the ambition I hope they have for this game. There is certainly tons of potential here. What they bring to the table will certainly be decisive to make me decide if I should bother to spend more time on this game.
I'm guessing first of all, that it takes a lot of time for them figure out how to actually fix the myriad of bugs that exists and that they want to fix all of them in the first pathc/DLC, realizing that if they dont they will probably loose most of their current player base. So this time around it has to be perfect.
Also, wont the first patch come together with SP DLC, which is probably content that requires more work?
As someone who's never played ME3MP I never really expected much from a bioware multiplayer game, because as far as I know they've never really made one, especially not one that is originally focused on MP. Which are the games I usually play. I'm usually a multiplayer wh*re.

There are more things to add on top of what the OP has said.
In ME3 we had Balancing Changes every Tuesday of every week from day one. Also, by the end of the second month we got our second DLC, which just like the first one, it was a pretty big package.
There is no comparison between DAMP and ME3. I can't possibly recommend this game to a friend, except for the SP part and only if they happen to have played the previous games.

They wanted to make the community happy and released the Dlc before the holidays and we should all be happy they atlest tried unlike other games that release crap Dlc for $ that should have been in the main game.
Everyone is only human. Mistakes are made and learned from.

Ugh I hate these whine topics more than the key bugs and round 5 Red Templar incompletes.
Look I know everyone is clamoring to compare DAMP to ME3MP and obviously ME3MP launched more stable and had more updates by now in a side-by-side lifespan comparison. BUT, to act like you can see into the future and know everything that BioWare has planned for DLC is just assumption.
Also SpaceVegan do you ever have positive conversations here? Does all that lack of interstellar meat make you a bitter and angry person or something? I mean why linger in a niche game community just to talk about how much you hate a game? Is that what a lack of meat does to people?

Oh jesus christ. I can't with you guys today. Stay salty and bitter. DLC will drop when it does regardless. Try not to tear so hard in this thread that it gets the other threads wet though.

DAMP has gotten to the point, where majority of my time is spent reloading, and relogging just to play it.. 2/3 of my matches this weekend, were joining a game, and havingmy character immobile.. As if thats not bad enough, it has started not only doing that, but adding a problem of not having a UI, so i cannot quit the game without being vote kicked, or manually shutting down my pc...

Use Alt F4. Ctrl Alt Del if you really have to, but Alt F4 works within 30 seconds.

I would argue a better comparison would be comparing what Bioware did with ME3 during the same time frame (Nov, Dec, and Jan).
Yes, its been 2 months since release, but the time frame also includes a multi-week vacation. Were about to see Patch 3, lets at least see whats included before yelling at bioware.

Also my sentiments. +1.
I'd like to see larger, and more difficult dungeons with dragons and good in game rewards at the end. But thats only a pipe dream. It wont happen.
