Thank you. You are what makes this game flourish. Thank you for recognizing my mental disability; my life is indeed an utter struggle and I really needed your 50 calls to open those warrior doors. Indeed, "I should see this". Those piled up bricks were indeed "over there"; after spending like 200 hours in this game I'm still oblivious to the structure of the maps, but thanks to your keen eye I'm now 150 gold richer. You of all should understand, not everyone is a fast learner.

Thank you, that you now showed me that as a guy who plays Warriors I enable you to do your job as an educator when I join your rouges/mages game in progress. You are a gentleman and a scholar. Bachelor of digital arts. I always ran past these walls, wondering if there's a way to get past them; only thanks to you I know that by kicking them I can break them and lead my comrades to wealth and prosperity. Your knowledge of the game is exquisite and I hope that one day I'll be able to say the same about myself, though my damaged brain hinders me.

Thank you for noticing those Mabari in the area right after the rooms with those delicious chests in them; thank you for not only picking Firestorm in your build but also immediately casting it on the enemy group that decided to switch Archers for canines. You may have noticed that I have a portrait representing 100 finished games with a character I play; certainly, I have had enough games with this character and it would be unwise to let me finish another one (or 60 more, to be exact). Indeed, I shouldn't endeavor to finish this character challenge; different challenges will suit me better, and I'm glad you recognized that.

You are the hero this game needs. Guardian of the doors, enlightened burner of the animals. Godspeed, Rion the Elementalist, and god bless whomever controls him.

This kinda applies to every class that lives on the over here button though. Especially the ones who press it every step of the way through a dungeon. Also... whats with the random bolding of random words?

I approve this message. Today, there was that same elementalist. Unfortunately, only third host migration put him as a host. I stayed in all four games as a principle to see how soon he will understand. Loop back in time, running the same dungeon stage, casting firestorm on the same dogs at the same time in the same place and getting the key swallowed the same way probably by the same dog. Bioware pls fix.

Also, Bioware, my stove is broken and I can't bake no cookies. Pls fix also. Thanks in advance.

I don't think it's right to alienate one class but I do wonder how people play a game this detailed without reading forums to find out about things like firestorm.

On another note, I can't stand players that charge ahead constantly, skipping the main reason I join matches - gold. If scrolls or a weapon cache are expiring, they should be skipped. Otherwise, just open the doors for people to avoid a lot of backtracking.

Grats on your 100 completed matches.

Also, firestorm has screen shake. I hate screen shakes. What's the point? These things get dull really fast.

They usually only start to expire because that one guy or girl decided to run ahead and prove how awesome they are while everyone else is busy killing an arcane horror or something..... well except for that one orlesian villa map where the cache is place right beside the path at beginning but is actually located near the end of the map.

Personally, for me - its a choice between playing pugs with ele's and have a chance of not finishing, or avoiding ele's in pugs alltogether and finish just about every time. So I avoid them. You can call me a racist.

I play ele myself though, because I know when to use firestorm and when not to use firestorm. You wont see me bug out any games.

Honestly, though... Even playing without the DLC, I really don't care for Firestorm. Yes, it an amazing AoE crowd-control ability with some decent damage, but if I am not the Elementalist casting it, I really hindering by it. You can't see anything that's going on in or past the Firestorm. It's really obnoxious if you are playing tank and trying to make sure you are holding aggro or a DPS trying to find and eliminate key targets.

Just my personal opinion. It may also be an issue with my eye-sight aswell. Who knows?

Funny, reminded me of:

Elementalist calls over and over for the party to run back to the door.

Elementalist and three warriors look at a locked door.

Fail.

you didn't get the point. Of course I open doors. But I don't need to be told by some moron to do it 30 times over. Next time I'll see some dip**** stand still and call me to the door over and over again while I'm fighting enemies, I'm gonna deliberately finish the wave and teleport everyone.

That's the problem with not having a text chat. I can't easily tell people to stop nagging, so I get pissed off.

Spam "over here" back at them?  That, or spam "target" on whatever you're fighting.

If you play on threatening, there should be no reason to not open that door immediatly. If the person who can open the door runs past it because there are mobs coming etc. he is wasting my time. You should know by now that there is nothing to gain to get those extra kills and there is plenty enough stuff to kill after that door. If everyone does this everything will run smoothly and efficiently. And if you run threatening with me or most other people there is no danger involved. 1-2 guys can clear the room, while the others clear the adds. Time saved. Perilous of course, is a different matter.

So please, stop complaining and open that door immediatly. It will be less annoying for both you and the people you play with.

Enough said on the subject. Now go open that door!

This is one of the issues I have with DAMP. Needing other players to open doors and having those players run right by the door to engage enemies in the next room and possibly get killed or solo it and teleport us past all the money. T_T

I see mostly warriors do this. Busting ass to get within melee range of the enemy before the bow rogue kills everything. t(-_-t )

Disagree.  There are several doors where if you don't kill the mobs just beyond them, they will WITHOUT FAIL notice the party and come charging into the room.  Then you're fighting a battle on two fronts.  Ask Germany how that went.  It's better to kill mobs that are close enough to potentially come wandering in, THEN get the door.

Better policy?  If two or more players go in one direction, that is the direction you should go.  Ignore the fourth person no matter how many "over heres" they drop.  Keeping the party together is almost always the best strategy.  I've started following this practice regardless of whether the two are charging forward or doing the dang room.

I'm not following 2 stupid people just because they decided to be stupid together. They want to run ahead while I am busy with doors and pots, good for them. I'll see them at the end when they come back to life from me opening the door.

I said this elsewhere... I was playing as Keeper with a Templar and an Arcanist (just the 3 of us) and we got the key bug. Not once but twice. It isn't just an Elementalist thing.

We know it isn't, it's just almost always caused by elementalists. Also what is an arcanist?
