And you put that smiley face... You are so evil...  Focus... Ok, no, i do not agree. Art style and enviroment is amazing, but definitely not over DAI graphics. That when DAI is working properly and on Ultra settings. thing that... never happens, lol 

 

The thing is that you are comparing style with graphics, i think. You just gotta look at the FX graphics in DAI, they are incredible. Agree with the faces and hair tho. 

Frostbite engine does do vistas very well.  The environments are delightful but I simply do not like how everything has this odd shine to it. It's not just the frostbite engine but it seems to do it the most.  I would have much preferred a grittier look to the game. I think it needed to be more Dark Souls then the colorful World of Warcraft type watercolors.

I would have went with a good old engine like havoc or Unreal for DAI not this FB :-)

 

But then again maybe it is because the Bioware people do not know how to use the FB engine

Yeah, for enviroment looks great but all looks so... Like if it was a decoration, not a living and breathing place. I´d call Red engine. Havoc is cool too. Unreal has also that shinny plastic thing, check the next Batman game. 

 

If i have to guess, EA decided that they use FB. And decided like a dictator decides.

As I said before I also have a 24,000 dollars Mac pro and learning Maya and 3D rendering and animation :-)

 

My instructor has created a animation of a girl walking and leaning over a table and he has close to 250K strands of hair moving, it is nearly life like :-)

 

DAI has nice environment but it is boring and I like to look perfect all the time and I look like a Barbie doll as a character that was a big turn off for me

I managed to make a better looking character in ME2 and ME3 and DAO and DA2 , well when DA2 was working for me :-)

 

Since it does not like the latest Nvidia driver

 

1200 dollar video card and a junk game like DA2 will not run properly because it does not like the version of the driver I am running

 

Thank You Bioware , guess that game will become a coaster for the coffee table :-)

The character I've gotten through the most in DA:I (the only one whose been to the ball) started out great in CC but once he was in game...lacquered gingerbread man.

 

 

 

I ditched him because I just couldn't stand the super tanned Ken doll look. Then I played and elf- dirched due to borked moderl

 

My current guy I like- I did four prototypes before I settled on him. PALE complexion. He's working but the graphics really just remind me of the tacky stuffed animals that you get at a fair, cheap and nasty looking.

 

Go and see some Vanishing of Ethan Carter vids on youtube guys, that is what amazing graphics look like!

The tech behind it is pretty amazing but it's the artists that really sell it, just as in Witcher 2.

Haha! YUP! I have vid of him going to VR to do the Chantry thing starkers lol! And pics on the horse.   It was the only way to start playing again! I went in with a specially crafted super hot guy and played it with cinematic tools for the lulz. Most fun I've had so far. He has a fabbo wardrobe lol!

 

But still, the game itself soon sucked the joy from my silliness.
