She

She looks great!  I love her eyes.

Yeah, she is inspired by Mila Kunis, lol. I tried to make it, but the character creator thing is way too restricted.

Ooh she's really pretty Sutree, well done! If my quizzie wasn't of the other persuasion he'd try to chat her up, I'm sure lol!

Funny enough I called that crafted scout coat 'Swagging the Scout Coat' lol! Dragonlings gave their lives for a good cause I think. :P

Haha, yeah, your Inky looks like a Cassanova, sadly my Inky is lesbian D: But with your Inky swag she may turn, lol

Best. Name. Ever. LMAO. I can never imagine funny names, is just all so serious. Except when i called "Thedas pennis" to a sword, lol

That's cool- my quizzies gay so they can hang out without fear lol! I only have a couple of funny names, it gets old fast but I made a greatsword for Iron Bull called Bull's Bollocks Breaker in my other game lol!

@Peregrinus, do you mean Elite Dangerous? Because I'm still working out how to set a profile up- despite TWO guides_ for VA lol! "It's simple' they asay- No, it is I who is apparently simple lol!

As for ED, I think it depends on what you want from it really, if you want a narrative or a plot, you would think it sucks. If you (as I do) simply want to be et loose in space and given the ability to create a headcanon character that is entirely freeform and shaped by the environment independent of any overarching story, it's really cool.

Even being stuck in dock because I can't find work I can do just now is kind of fun because I can RP being poor and new to the system and the struggle to get myself off the lower rung is all part of the adventure. Flying through hyperspace, and exploring the galaxy is pretty great. I'm not so interested in dog fighting but if that's something that you enjoy, there's a lot of it. I'm just trying to get competent enough to head out into the Open game so I can meet up with the Aussie group and have TS3 conversations. That will be fun I think.

So I really like it, in spite of the massive learning curve and problems I am having getting started, it's a lot of fun for a die hard sci fi geek.

I remember the original being on the complicated side too. I don't think I would have the patience for that now.   :)

This is the first one. http://en.wikipedia....irst_Encounters

Elite Dangerous was released in December 2014 I believe , although it cut out the single player completely.

Lol Sutree! It came out December 16, I got it about a month ago I think. I had a break when I had eye surgery 2 and a half weeks ago, and then I had to wait for my HOTAS (controller was so not working for me) so I've only really had a little bit of time in the game so far. I am determined to succeed though and I'm enjoying the challenge!

Eventually they plan to have planetary landing and mooching about in space stations, I figure I want to get my extreme incompetence sorted well in advance of the influx of players such enhancements will bring. This way I'll be lounging about in a bar with my homies laughing at all the Noobs when the expansions happen instead of being one. Tragic, aren't I? lol!

I'm looking forward to Star Citizen's SP game Squadron 42, whenever the hell it comes out, that will be loads of fun I think.

I'm trying to decide between voice packs.

A another great show to catch is on History Channel  called Vikings.

Vikings is a poorly realized B. Cornwell's rip-off, for the story and setting, and GOT/Rome/Spartacus Blood and Sand, for the sex and gore, especially season 1, imho.

No offense, dear Peregrinus. :P

Guys, I got another business trip in Geneva these next three days, still working for the Dream.

I don't have the time to type my short story (only three pages or so but still...).

Perhaps I could send a scan of it to you guys?

If you would be so kind, please send me an email to maeltostain@gmail.com with your email addresses and I'll send a cc email to all interested as soon as I'm able.

I think I already have Cyan, Peregrinus, Sylveria and a few other addresses.

Love you all :).

See you in three days.

No offense taken. :)  I do find Vikings similar in tone to Rome. That is probably why I like it so much.  Have a safe trip!

For anyone here using the DAI mod manager, it's been updated to version 047 with more improvements. Make sure you recompile your merge file.  :)

Lennier was his name(played by Bill Mumy)he also featured in a Episode of DS9 as a engineer  ( Ground Battle at Chintoka ) can't remember whic season though I know it was season 3+ as Sisko commanded the USS Defiant during that time.

Also for all the Star Citizen players out there the guy that designed the USS Defiant also designed a couple of Star Citizen ships.

Season 7 :-)

Indeed, as Ezri Dax was at the battle and she appeared in the last season. ^^

Just poking my head in to say Thanks for the heads up re Space Above and Beyond- the whole series is on youtube and so far (3 eps in) it's really good!

It joins Firefly in the 'so good it has to be cancelled' basket I guess. I've always wondered how BSG survived, what with it being quality Sci Fi and all, how did it last past the first season? :P

Oh, and also- Red Dwarf!

Yeah same here, but I guess Bashir got what he'd wanted for 7 years......sort of oh reminds me the guy that designed the USS Defiant, the ship he has designed in Star Citizen is the Anvil Carrack https://robertsspace...carrack/Carrack

it was briefly available to pledge for a few weeks back think it was $350 for the game package that had it was a bit steep for my wallet( The most I spent on a single ship was on the TNGS winning ship The Redeemer with LTI to go with my Freelancer MAX and Mustang Delta and Mustang Beta) I think the same guy also did some of the ship designs on that new Sci-Fi movie Jupiter Ascending.

Thinking of Babylon 5 and DS9 wasn't there some legal action regarding a claim that DS9 was based on the original pitch of Babylon 5 ? I think it was something along the lines that the studio had stolen the idea of Babylon 5 after rejecting the original pitch or some such thing.

Thanks for reminding me, have several seasons on DVD.

Side-splittingly funny. Keeps the kids and I entertained for hours.

Watch it more than Babylon 5.

When the writers' strike happened, eleven episodes of season four had been filmed. Not knowing how long the strike would last or whether the show was going to return after it, the network and Ronald D. Moore decided not to wait and aired the first ten episodes, taking advantage of the cliffhanger that ended episode ten because it worked as a series finale. When the strike ended, the remaining nine episodes were green-lighted and the show could finish on Moore's terms.

Unsure why but DAI seems to run noticeably smoother with mods installed.  I was roaming around Redcliffe yesterday and it didn't dip into the low teens like normal.  odd.

Frostbite empowers game creators around the world to shape the future of gaming. Together with our game teams, we provide a smooth, beautiful, and collaborative development experience.

The future feels really broken.

RNG? Sorry, couldn't resist. :P

As to my nudie quizzie and his quiver -hahahaha- I know, right? One of my (admittedly far from game breaking but still very high on the irrit scale if for no other reason than it demonstrates a frustrating lack of polish for a modern game and we could do it in the last two games) is the complete inability to actually unequip weapons. So if he wears his armour in Skyhold to stave off the eyebleed of the jammies (okay not so much now since I have a blue/green outfit from Nexus) he has bloody daggers or a bow hanging off him all the time.

I mean, really? I have a theory that the godawful jim jams were their way of avoiding the job of including an unequip mode on armour. Seriously, the whole game reeks of cut corners to me. *grump*

On another, equally grumpy note. I spent so long fiddling with the buttons on my HOTAS to set up the VA yesterday arvo that when it came to actually playing, I was all buttoned out lol! I think having three modifying buttons is making my life too hard, since I have the memory of a goldfish these days. Today's task will be to re assign them (again) to a simpler set up I think.

Your whole nudie armor mod thing was great.  :)  The whole skyhold underarmor thing seems really out of place. What technical issue was there in letting you wear what you are wearing? It obviously isn't a problem, because you are wearing armor in cutscenes.  As for the weapons, I think it would have been great for them to just keep them invisble when you are at Skyhold. I can't imagine that would be so difficult to do.
