same here. :)   Marvel has done such an outstanding job with Captain America First Avenger, Captain America 2, Thor, Thor Dark World, Avengers and Iron man series.  Very pleased so far with the whole thing.

Go The Avengers! While I was looking for Space Above and Beyond I stumbled on another Sci Fi I'd never heard of (boo to aussie tv) Odyssey 5. It looks interesting, has anyone seen it?

And remember Earth 2? I really liked that show too.

Speaking of nudie quizzie, I'll have to shrink down the footage of him nuding it up in VR and upload it for you guys to lol over. I mean the whole nuding him up got old pretty quick- unless there is a waterfall, in which case he always strips off- but that footage is freaking priceless. I even showed my mother and she gagged laughing too, I think it has something to do with nobody looking twice at the naked dude lol! I have handbrake, I just have to bolster my fortitude to tackle new software, new software as a rule , does not like me.

Or how about Andromeda featuring Kevin Sorbo (of Hercules The Legendary Journeys TV Series), God I miss seeing Lucy Lawless as Xena all that Leather Phwoar!

Iron Man 2 was pretty weak and I think so was the first Thor movie, but the other movies were good to outstanding and than there is the overall story arch which is a great touch.

That's a new one for me, Lunafancy. Odyssey 5?  The premise does sound neat.   As for Earth 2, I liked it but i felt the writing was really inconsistent. Some episodes were good, some were bad.

I miss Xena.  :(  I never realized just how tall Lucy Lawless was when she was on Hercules.

Bloody hell, Gene Rodneberry was a busy beaver after Star Trek, found another one when IO was looking for Andromeda- Earth Final Conflict. All up on youtube too, yay! DA:I and the ensuing game sale comfort binge has wiped my discretionary spending acount for some time to come. So free is good!

ok, so first time I've ever seen twilight. Why is it that the vampires in it can walk around in the daylight? Do they have some other restriction?

Haha Xena! My fav character in that series had to be Callisto however (which I name my fem-toons after)

In RPGs she's always my toon for psycho playthroughs!

Also Joxer!

Righting wrongs and singing songs, being mighty all day long - he's Joxer, Joxer the Mighty!

ok, so first time I've ever seen twilight. Why is it that the vampires in it can walk around in the daylight? Do they have some other restriction?

It based on the idea that being allergic to the sun(getting burned) is a myth with the reality being that due to how their skin sparkles like diamonds in sunlight people would be able to tell that they are not normal humans,as far as I recall the main catch is that becoming a vampire is incredibly painful and potentially risky as there is a 50/50 chance that the venom from another vampire that transforms you will kill you.

Also if your transformed at a young age as Edward Cullen was trying to blend in without drawing undue attention to himself or his family can be very difficult if I recall he'd gone through school several times over at least a century. While I'm not into Vampire movies generally I do find Twilight to be a more plausible depiction of what vampire's might be like if they really existed (not counting people who have that condition who's name i can't recall where they don't produce hemoglobin).

Know what's fun about having to relearn a skill you have down pat with a controller on a HOTAS set up?

Me neither. Ugh! I thought it took me long enough to learn how to dock in ED the firsttime, but to be utter crap at it again was just painful. I actually hit boost by accident (still not entirely au fait with the myriad of buttons lol!) and shot into the station wall. Immolation for all! Hooray! lol!.

*shakes head*

I seem to have got the hang of it again, thank god- with any luck I'll get out of the training module tomorrow ...praise be! Here's hoping the galaxy is a kinder place when one has a HOTAS and I can begin to prosper.  Not sure I'll live long though...

Where's MG with her report on the movie?

Hitting boost while inside a station is something of an initiation in ED. Everyone did it at one point. :D

That said...Joystick always felt very natural, not something one need to learn. But that just maybe the case when you grow up with the stuff. Looking at the gamepad this might actually be true. I never had a console in my life and I struggle with the gamepad.

She probably followed up on her promise, but married the guy and is now with house and children. :P

Attila Total War right around the corner, what you guys reckon - going to be a mess like R2TW at launch?

I enjoyed Barbarian Invasion expansion for RTW - in fact it was my favorite - that era was very interesting. Despite R2TW's launch, CA really patched up the game like crazy however (definitely nothing like EA/"Bioware" with DAI - as all concerns were addressed and fixed by CA, and empire edition was free as an apology to fans who pre-ordered R2TW), not to mention they always supported modding.

Hello all :-)

Happy Sunday or Monday to some :-)

Sorry there was no lucky person or persons:-)

Did not go see the movie :-(

They had a major problem in 3 Guys were planning a Valentine day massacre in my own town :-(

They killed one and arrested the other 2, but since the area where they arrested them was near the theatre, I decided it would be safer to skip it for this weekend:-)

They do not want to say if they were terrorist yet, but sure sounds like it :-(

Will get to see it some other time :-)

Hugs and kisses all around :-)
