The bow did not shoot exploding arrows, it just applies the effect of an exploding enemy on killing it. And since the main character, as an archer, kills a lot of enemies...it was a gory mess lol.

Nah, I prefer the Tenassarin bow and of course the Griffon Bow. :)

Have that bow right now with a Superb Demon Slaying rune on it the effect is essentially the archer's version of walking bomb

@MatrixGirl:

Thanks again for the hint with MSE. I'm currently prepping a laptop for my grandma (yop, granny get's a computer and internet :D) and first thing I did was getting rid of some DELL bloatware and McAffe antivirus. Windows Defender - that's the name of MSE on Win 8.1 - looks great so far. :)

@GODzilla

Yes new laptops come with all kind of garbage software that I remove also :-)

I swear by 2 programs on the PC :-)

One is MSE it works great and has a small foot print it updates everyday and never had a virus in my life :-)

Been using it for 2 years now :-)

And the other one is a must have and is free, it is called Ccleaner and you run that as often as you want and it keeps your system nice and clean :-)

I even tried the registry cleaner part of Ccleaner and never had an issue with it deleting stuff in the registry that would screw up your system :-)

2 amazing programs that works superbly:-)
I would advise it to anyone here :-)

Well...both are installed, naturally. :D And also since forever on all the pcs I use or setup for other people. I see we are on the same level of quality pc maintenance. :)

Okay, MSE is kinda new. Have been used to 3rd party AV solutions for years but will most certainly change it with the next Windows version. Currently my subscription for Norton AV is still running and it works fine. You know...never touch a running system. ;)

And when you want to get rid of Norton, you will need to find a U installer program you can find on Norton or on Google :-)

Since Norton AV likes to imbed itself all over the place on your system and in many registry files :-)

You will need to boot up in safe mode, kill the Norton process and run that U installer because Norton just does not want to leave easily :-)

It is a ****** to totally obliterate it from a system :-)

And if that does not work, kill the process and do a reedit and delete anything that says Symantec or Norton to make sure it is gone :-)

You should have an icon in your system tray that looks like a small green house, that is MSE :-)
It is fast and reliable and is ranked 1 or second on the list of top 5 anti virus programs:-)

+1 on Ccleaner

I also use MalwareBytes, Spybot Search & Destroy, and Spyware Blaster.

Though there is quite a bit of overlap between some I have found each to be more effective in some areas than the others so I try to keep them all up to date and never go online without them.

MSE does all of that also :-)

It is an AV and replaces all those programs you mentioned:-)

Too many of those spy bot programs running overlap too much :-)

It is like having sex with 4 condoms, useless, when you only need one :-)

As you say never mess with a great working system :-)

For me Windows 7 Ultimate 64 is perfect :-)

Windows 8 and above is the same kernel and core of Windows 7 64 with a pile of eye candy that is not required, and gaming is more stable on Windows 7 64 :-)

Nothing coming out as far as games in the next few years will recommend Windows 8 or above :-)

Stick with what works and is rock solid :-)

I know my W7 so well by now I disabled close tom30 useless services and only have 40 process running :-)

I tuned W7 like an F1 car :-)

Yes, they use MSE here at work.

No complaints from me.

If I ever upgrade my Windows install I'll consider it.

Right now though, what I am using works quite well for me and I paid much less for all of them together than I would pay for Windows and/or MSE.

MSE is free you can download it on the Microsoft web page :-)

And you might notice a slight performance increase since you will not have 3 programs running in the background using important resources :-)

Tempting, but I doubt it would cooperate with my "version" of Windows.

Oh your version of Windows is not on the legit side :-)

Must be hard to do the updates :-)

And Microsoft likes to send a SPP scan once or twice a few year to check if your copy is legit:-)

That is when they catch you :-)

Now you can disable that service, but they catch on to it eventually:-)

Depending on how good a year it is here sales wise, when Win10 gets released, how good it is, and how much MS tries to extort out of consumers for it I may go legit this year ... finally.

Getting caught has never been a problem as I'm not dumb enough to go to the MS sight and try to update mine, like some people I've known.

Windows 10 will be free if you have a legit copy of W8 :-)

And I will certainly not update to 10, no need for it :-)

W7 64 Ultimate works great for me and do not see any benefits in W10 :-)

Correction

Free for people with a legit copy of W7 and up for one year :-)

After you have used W10 for a year you will get a nice bill in the mail to pay for W10 :-)

Reading the forums most people will remain with W7 :-)

Microsoft does not give free OS like Apple does :-)

I run Yosemite on my Mac and it is free, I have not paid for a Mac OSX for 2 years now, they are free with no strings attached:-)

I hope it'll be free for Win7, too.

And while I too very much like Win7 Pro 64bit I will upgrade because of DirectX 1, which will only ship with Win10 and it'll be a must for pc players sooner or later.

Plus Win10 seems to be on a good way. It's more like Win7 than Win8 as far as I can tell.

Yes anyone with a legit copy of W7 and up can go to W10 :-)

Going to W10 for DX12 Minot sure yet :-)

And you still have to pay for W10 :-)

They are doing that they claim because W8 was a flop, they did not make much money or sales of W8 :-)

W8 had issues with drivers also :-)

By what I read after 1 year of using W10 then they charge you the money and no one can say what the price is :-)

I do not trust Microsoft on that deal, will need more information before I jump :-)
But for now my W7 64 Ultimate is fine tuned and will stick with it :-)

Doing more research on W10 :-)

They claim that it is a bit slower in some games like Dead Space 4

The only advantage is the DX12 which you might be able to install on W7 anyway

The update will cost 100 dollars

And they are trying to appeal to the W7 crowd since there are more of us using W7 than there are people using W8

So basically most people will not upgrade :-)

The say it boots a bit faster, like I care I can boot W7 in 4 seconds :-)

And if I can install DX12 onto my existing copy of W7 there is no reason for me to go to W10 :-)

Hell they are like Bioware they do not even have W8 working well yet and they want people to dish out 100 dollars for W10 :-)

Not going to happen here :-)

DirectX 12 will most likely NOT be installable on Win7. The kind of modifications they would have to do with the Windows kernel are so extensive it's almost like a rebuild of the operating system. It's not going to happen, almost guaranteed not. ;)

Downward compatibility is always a compromise. And quite frankly, I'd rather have the best API possible than something that works on every operating system but not as good.

Oh and I would totally pay for a good operating system and why not?

from what I have heard W10 will be free for life as long as the initial upgrade is done within 1 year of the release date.

On a side note found that trying to fit the amount of rad's I needed to cool my CPU and dual R9 290's would require me to use a Dual Bay Res and the  1 that comes with the Alphacool kit (

Alphacool NexXxoS Cool Answer 360 D5/UT) is from what I have seen in every review including JayzTwoCents has said that while the kit overall is good the Res is a pain in the ass to fill because of the very small front mounted fillport/straw.So I have placed a order for this case: The Thermal Take Core X9 note the top image is 2 of them stacked together lol so while the water cooling loop is now delayed a bit longer I'll be able to fit dual 480mm RAD's in the roof and a nice big tubular Res in the front making it so much easier to fill/flush/drain, also picked up a 3TB Seagate Sata 3 7200Rpm HD( will upgrade to SSD's when they finally make a 2TB unit that does not require me to sell both my Kidneys lol. Anyways the case is arriving Thursday before Noon so I'll be spending about 2hrs transfering my system over from the Switch 810 case you have seen in my previous photos on this thread which will be used as a base for either my mum or dad's PC that I'll be building them to replace their laptops.

Just a quick Edit there's a review of the case on Tweaktown http://www.tweaktown...view/index.html

Curious as to what people think of my new purchase as the pricing is £139/$190 which I think is pretty reasonable considering the similar sized case from CaseLabs(S8 I think) is about 2-3 Times the price before you option it out.
