The day a console is faster than my PC I will run out of my house naked and run the street for 1KM :-)

So basically it is never going to happen :-)

Consoles do not have the horse power we have :-)

Not going to happen :-)

totally with you on that one  :D of course all us seasoned PC Gamers know consoles will be forever playing catch-up  does make me giggle like a schoolgirl though listening to some of the claims these console channels make on Youtube.

Sorry was not trying to make you cry :-)

Going back to firmware, each piece of hardware in hour computer has something called an EPROM, it is a chip that is programable just like your BIOS, so sometimes updating what we call the firmware can fix many issues and make things work much better :-)

@Lunafancy   Yep, in complete agreement with you there.  If the game wasn't broken then I would never have met all of you here.  I guess the full price wasn't so bad.  :)

Well these console players can always dream, but it is impossible to go faster than the speed of light :-)

Basic laws of physics:-)

If they want to make consoles as fast as our PC's the console would be worth 6 thousand dollars and still would come with a useless controler:-)

Haha! I am what we here is Aussieland call a Cadbury (it's chocolate and their advertising used to concentrate that each 200g block has a glass and a half of milk, because you know, that makes it healthy) and lose all forms of internal censor after a few lol!

Which is why I am so very entertaining when the drinking games start lol!

I'm a fan of Canadian blended whiskey and french brandy but that sounds delicious.   :)

As I said I read a lot before I put my hands in my case :-)

Remove my rings and put on a grounding strap, rub my hand on the case and power supply so there is no static and do it :-)

Then the software part is easy :-)

Consoles are for the 12 years old who are on Twitter saying to Bioware that DAI is the best RPG they have ever played :-)

Then I asked what other RPG have you ever played, no answer of course :-)

@Peregrinus

I could never get dragon and dictate to work for me, because of my French accent :-)

So......has tattoo's, knows her stuff when it comes to PC Hardware, looks like a supermodel and has a french accent. Mussssst resissst the temptation to........ oh bugger(melts into the fade at the awesomeness of this revelation)think I need to lay down in a dark room and have somebody drop a iceberg the size of Africa on me. :D

Ok, here´s where you are going to hate me. I know KB&M is the best way to go on PC, but i don´t really hate when games go for the control gaming experience. For Mass effect was a cool improvement IMHO.

BUT, in RPG yeah, i rather more the tac thing of KB&M, controls have limited buttons so the experience is slayed. We need really inmersive and complex gaming tools. They should make a control with all the Keyboard keys. LOL that´d be hilarious.

I do agree have a good controller scheme isn't a bad thing since one of the great things of PC is being input agnostic, I just hate it when the M/KB implementation is castrated because too much focus was put on controller input.

This is my board

https://www.mysteryb...com/part/19076/

And this is my CPU

http://www.amazon.ca...=intel i7 5960x

And cannot even play DA2 even on DX9

I think you must mean this board http://www.scan.co.u...-30-(x16)-e-atxsince as far as I was aware the CPU being a socket 2011 v3 wont run on a z97(socket 1150)

Exactly. That´s the main problem. DAI coulda been a really good game having a complex use of the KB/M options, but was so limited by the controller it ended up sucking.

That board is pretty.   :)

Mine is the z87 version of that board though with the latest BIOS updates you can run the z97 CPU's( i5 4690K and i7 4790K) on the z87 motherboard

nah the link for the mother board was the Maximus VII Formula which is for the Haswell refresh CPU's ( i5 4690K and I7 4790K all the z87 i5 4670K and i5 4770K will run on that board) the board for your 5960X is the rampage V Extreme the main differences aside from the CPU size and cores are that the 5820K,5930K and 5960X use DDR4 RAM instead of Haswell's DDR3 and of course the 5930K and 5960X support 48 PCI-E lanes IIRC so you could run 3 GTX 980's all at PCI-E 3.0 x16.

Yeah, PR screwed up royally.  You can't tell people your game is made by pc gamers for pc gamers and then have it oriented for a game controller.  They could have spun it positively by saying they decided to port it for us peasant pc gamers in spite of what EA corporate wanted.   lol

But I did not install the useless over clocking software that comes with the board, got enough speed already z
:-)

Just the Intel driver and the USB3 drivers :-)

Those boards come with the lazy way to over clock :-)
