Yes it is a pretty board :-)

And it is ASUS, I love my ASUS products :-)

same the 4/5 way optimization in A.I Suite makes overclocking a doodle if your pressed for time also you likely noticed from my previous pictures I went all out on the whole Black/Red ROG scheme wherever possible  :D

Nope would not go to a 3rd video card :-)

Even with a 1.2KW gold PSU, that would be wasted money right now and would make Sutree cry again :-)

I got the red and black look also going, but it is in an enclosed case :-)

So you do not see it :-)

As I said do not like those case with side windows :-)

But I did not install the useless over clocking software that comes with the board, got enough speed already z
:-)

Just the Intel driver and the USB3 drivers :-)

Those boards come with the lazy way to over clock :-)

I usually do full manual overclocking, though I do find it handy if I'm pressed for time I can just apply a quick working overclock at the click of a button and come back and adjust it manually later when I have time.

I know the A.I suite on the Asus X-99 Deluxe also included GPU overclocking in its list of features I think it carried over to the Rampage V Extreme also though as you say you have plenty of speed as is.

Also I think Bitspower and E.K have full cover waterblocks for your motherboard too.

Yeah, PR screwed up royally.  You can't tell people your game is made by pc gamers for pc gamers and then have it oriented for a game controller.  They could have spun it positively by saying they decided to port it for us peasant pc gamers in spite of what EA corporate wanted.   lol

LOL. Yep. Honest, sad but honest at least, so we don´t get all hyped and then dissapointed like this. Hope they improve on that and fix some issues with the next patch.

Ohhh, is goin to rain! Finally! Love it! :3

YES I ALWAYS MAKE COMMENTS OUT OF THE SUBJECT AND ALWAYS WILL DON´T JUDGE ME xD

I'm actually not too fond of multiple card solutions.  Yes, there is a very significant performance gain but Nvidia/AMD both are very lazy about creating profiles to make them work properly. I think programmers need to get off their lazy ass and code a bit more to the metal so folks with single cards can run games at a good pace.

for DAI.   You can already get into the evaluation build for Windows 10.  I thought about that but decided against it. I just don't see the benefit.

I want to love it, which is why I am still playing, albeit on Casual with a bow and taking more screenshots and vids than anything else...but when you stop me playing with my daggers, I get cranky lol!

Still, my Rhodrii is dreamy so there's that going for it lol! If they hadn't pimped it as a pc game and a legitimate follow on to DAO, I would have waited for a sale and maybe not been so bitter. But I paid FULL price for a game that is not what it was represented to be,  and so am kind of cranky...

But then I ended up hanging with you guys because of it, so maybe the money was well spent after all!

Yes indeed, this is the best thing that came of DA:I for me.

Thank you Sylveria Relden!

Judge you? Only in the best way- it's part of your charm lol!

We are bracing for what our forecasters call a 'rain event' in the next 48 hrs we're looking at over 300mm of rain and damaging winds... my horses will be staying in their stables for the duration lol!

I used a V8 super cooler :-)

Not going to liquid cooling, no requirement since I have 2 massive 200MM fans one on top of the case one on the back and the V8 super cooler is super silent and huge also :-)

And also dual 512Gig SSD drives in RAID zero , and SSD do not create any heat :-)

I imagine you don't have any heat issues, since your video card is probably the only thing really outputting any heat at all. Haswell processors tend to run icy cold.

Oh, the reason why my fan runs at 3000 rpm most of the time is me having a mode called cool/quiet turned off in the bios. I turned it on and it spins down the fan to around 1500-1800 rpm and ramps up as needed.  The desktop isn't loud at all so I keep the mode turned off.  No need it to throttle.

Agree on that, but maybe they don´t do it cause of lazyness but because this way they sell more cards. Simple right? Just my opinion.

You have horses? My grandpa lives in the wilds and he have all this farm with beautifull animals, and the horses! OMG! I was always trying to ride the poor beasts. Well, they are well domesticated so they are a charm, riding to the sunset like a badass cowboy, lemme tell you what son:

What.

pretty much unless you had one of the bad i7 4770K some of them were right furnaces due to poor quality TIM under the I.H.S the refresh 4790K's certainly improved on it considerably some of then were getting up to 5-5.2Ghz on a Corsair H105/H110 AIO

With the 200 fans in your case, you will not need liquid cooling:-)

But may need ear plugs when they all start spinning at once :-)

And my GTX980 also runs quite cool, with the heat pipe technology it runs 30% cooler than non ASUS cards :-)

Putting the other one tomorrow, going to have that 1.2KW to work :-)

You just reminded me I have 2 of those BitFenix Spectre Pro Red L.E.D 200mm Fans (Picture Below) kicking around might swap the stock 200mm front fan for those as it'll take 2 200's in both the front and top.

Yeah, I'm sure your 1.2k  psu was clapping it's hands in excitement because it's probably kinda bored right now.  :)

And we agree the only way to over clock is manually in the BIOS, the software way is useless :-)

And I find the software useless :-)
