Yeah, I'm sure your 1.2k  psu was clapping it's hands in excitement because it's probably kinda bored right now.   :)

In the same boat with my EVGA Supernova G2 !300W at most I might be using around 1000W I can already hear it going "are we there yet I'm booooooored "lol

You see this is the kind of stuff I do not go for, I hate those kinds of fan :-)

I love my stainless steel case with the sound proofing insulation:-)

But those fans are pretty:-)

But you cannot go wrong with 200MM fans

As long as they are good quality and silent, you got it made :-)

My AMD apu build has two 80 mm fans, cpu fan, and psu fan.  The thing uses around 150 Watts on max load so heat just isn't an issue.  The Evga 430W 80+ bronze supply  was definitely enough..  It's a really nice psu too.  I'm not sure how they make any money on it.

Disturbedjim83:

Couldn't find my copy of Freelancer, thank goodness for Amazon.

Got my "new to me" disc today and going to install.

Which, if any, mods are you running?

LunaFancy:

Have you ever read White Dwarf magazine?

The dragons you linked remind me a lot of some of the great paint jobs they showed of in there.

They have a keen sense of humor too.. One of ours likes to suck in water and hold it in his mouth and then douse you as you walk by. and then what sounds like horse laughter.  :)

You just reminded me I have 2 of those BitFenix Spectre Pro Red L.E.D 200mm Fans (Picture Below) kicking around might swap the stock 200mm front fan for those as it'll take 2 200's in both the front and top.

Stop joking around, you stole that off a drone! ;)

Mostly Jason's Freelancer Patch is the 1 consistent patch though it can sometimes cause progression issues with mission 9 here's a link to the main hub that lists and has link to many of the popular mods for Freelancer http://the-starport....Freelancer_Mods

I did have to turn off tripple buffering if I recall in Catalyst otherwise the planets would become transparent and you could only see the atmosphere.

Yep those fans could be used on a drone :-)

They have the red lights and all so you can fly it at night:-)

It's simple and elegant.   :)   Nothing wrong with that.. Although I do like the Aerocool case that was linked above.  Although it looks like some kind of robot.

They do speak of the sound proofing on the side covers and the optional dual 200MM fans instead of the 120mm fans

The Amiga was amazing. I remember using them in college. Me and a friend made a wire mesh animated Robotech battle sequence on one.

Simple and elegant and easy to work on since all the bay's have a pull pin so you can remove an entire cage of SSD drives or whatever you got in them :-)

No sharp edges to cut your fingers on, to me it is what is inside that counts :-)

The naughty pure raw horse power :-)

Not boring at all.

I don't go in for all the cut-outs, windows, and flashing lights.
