I remember quite well that they said straight from Vienna:-)

And were advertised as a North American tour, so they were the real deal :-)

If not well they lied to the crowd :-)

O_O

How do you...? I mean, 575 fps how do you even see things? Is not like you were time travelling through Temeria?

Haha! I have to admit, I don't get the FPS thing...30 -60 I can't really tell the diff unless there is stuttering lol!

On The Witcher I get 575 FPS since there is no Vsynch on that game :-)

But even with Gsynch monitors, some games I Vsync so rock solid 60FPS or 140FPS depending how I set my monitors and card and game :-)

On Skyrim I get 2375FPS on the main menu lol and around 375FPS around DragonsReach in Whiterun (one of the bigger bottlenecks in the game)

It looks just normal to me, now the FPS counter could be playing games, but it is nice and clear :-)

@Lunafancy  The same here but you normally don't notice if the framerate is stable.  it's when the game stutters, and dips back and forth, the experience gets bad.

Depends how long you've been used to 60FPS I can usually tell at a glance if it drops below 60 without a FPS counter anything above 60 you won't really notice unless your playing FPS's or other "twitch" games. Fighter pilots can perceive drops below 200FPS

Same here! I can tell the difference between 30 and 60 but more... don´t, just, my eyes will bleed.

Getting a stable 60 fps at 1080p is ideal on PC.  Anything above that is icing on the cake.  :)   I don't exactly have the most powerful hardware so I'm okay with 30 fps , as long as it's stable framerate.

I would agree with you 100%

As long as it is nice and smooth and I can notice a FPS drop , I have become sensitive to that also :-)

On Diablo 3 I get 2200FPS or 3200FPS but I know it is warp factor 10 Mr Sulu :-)

But that's just potential FPS speed, right? Since the game would be unplayable if it actually moved that fast..right?

I did not apply for the beta, I was sure they would have told me NO :-)

Even you I am surprised that you got on, not everyone has rigs like us :-)

I would have tought they would have went with people that have average to mid end rigs :-)

Normally it will sync to what the monitor is capable of so it'll normally lock to 60 regardless of how high your video card can do.  Of course if you have a monitor that is capable of 120 hz or more, it'll do that.  :)

That is what Fraps says it is running at and as I said with Gsynch monitors and the 900 series take advantage of that also, game seems like watching a HD video on TV :-)

But the super specced rigs are having a lot of problems that they shouldn't be having so I'm not surprised. Mine is decent (17 4790, 12gb RAM GTX 760) and I'm not having too many issues, but a lot of super rigs are.

Nope , they are thoroughbreds and older.   Just spoiled pets now.  :)

Exactly hence why they invented Vsync in the games so you can lock it down to your monitor refresh rate :-)

Now disable Vsynch and you get the crazy speeds like the 2500FPS disturbedjim is getting in Skyrim:-)

When you Q&A a game, you really need to test it on the minimum spec, medium recommended spec and higher end. If you only test on the higher end, you are not really testing.  :)   I'm on a minimum spec. Hopefully there are others in the beta that are on the recommended and higher spectrum of PCs.

Yeah, the Gsync idea was rather brilliant.  I'm sure it will be the standard for monitors in the near future.

Well I did not have one single glitch for the bit of time I played :-)

Does not seem like I had the banter issues also :-)

And some people could have top of the line rigs, but if they do not maintain their systems and have all kind of garbage in their Window registry :-)

They will have issues trying to run Pac Man :-)
