Anyway to all of you :-)

Enjoy the rest of your day or evening :-)

Going to catch some sleep, have to lay off a few people tomorrow, and that is never a good day :-)

But that is what I get for being HR

Again was a pleasure as always to spend my evening with such a distinguished group of people :-)

Be safe all :-)

Hugs and kisses all around :-)

@MG No, I'm in south east Qld, they get the fires down in the southern states like Victoria and NSW where they have dry heat summers. Up here we have too much humidity for bad fires, thank goodness. We get cyclones and hideous damaging storms instead though lol!

Not so much where I live though, we're in a valley so the mountains keep most of the really wild weather at bay, you can see the scary storms split and go around us on the radar, it's quite cool-for us, not so much those above and below us on the radar, they get hammered.

We get some though- I once got concussed by a golfball sized hail stone trying to put a horse into the stable in the middle of a sudden storm- the noise on the roof scared her, but when she was outside the hail hurt her so she was going mental. Got her ineventually, but yeah...nasty conscussion for my trouble lol! No good deed goes unpunished after all!

Here you go Sutree, back on topic, which oens do you like the look of most? ME4 is BS of course.. lol!

Glad you are out of danger there!

Believe it or not, CyberPunk 2077. Is going to be a masterpiece. CPR is blowing RPG developers away. The top 3 (in no order): Bioware: Mass effect (sci fi) and Dragon Age, Bethesda: Fallout (sci fi) and The elder scrolls, CDProjekt Red: Cyberpunk 2077 (sci fi) and The Witche series.

I think it'll be great but I'm hoping it will be party based and tactical.

GODzilla

Going to agree with you :-)

Going to give it another go at it when I am finished with The Witcher :-)

Than I will be able to give a more in depth review of the game :-)

Hugs :-)

Maybe by then patch 5 will be out and running :-)

DAI's story, acting, and environments are top notch IMO, it's everything else that is questionable, and hampens the experience and pacing. My main issues remains the lack of post-release support, fan-dev disconnect, BS marketing practices, and the console port (console ports in general for me can be acceptable as long as I'm informed beforehand - not lied to by marketing and spending $90 AUD on a console port), making me very wary of future purchases of "Bioware".

JE / KOTOR were some of my favorites but they were console ports. I bought them on sale anyway (besides, they didn't come out on PC for a while, pretty much had no way to support Bioware during that time since they didn't support my platform - and had zero interest in consoles/controllers)

Jackal why do you leave us all the time? Come join the gang :P

btw ****** love the Total war series. Goin to try Attila one next

Sorry, been working alot lately, and when I come home I'm trying to game as much as I can before my GF comes over to yell at me lol - she's not really a gamer so

Only have time to pop in here and there :)

I'm excited by Cyberpunk 2077, I hope we get to customise the character...that's the downside of TW. Mind you I left Shepard as the stock standard fella so I don't always mind- as long as they are eye candy! Yes. I perv on my toons, I openly adit to crushing hard on Shepard, he and Kaiden were such a scute couple (used the gay shep hack to get them together from the first game, I did) what with Kaiden being all stand up guy and the Shep I played swinging from Paragon to Renegade depending on the need lol! No wonder Kaiden needed a break in ME2.

I really hope for Lost Ark, I'll deffo wait and see (as in wait til the sale and see if it's worth it) for ME4 and Anima, Gate of Memories looks interesting in a Lost Odyssey inspired way.

lol! Sutree, no offence taken! No, my back is 100% rooted but I get by...it messes with it to ride my horses but you know, some things make life worth living so you gotta keep doing them no matter what the cost.

I'm super restricted by it but I just keep the riding to my own arena and paddocks. Good thing about horses is when your back seizes and freezes while you riding, they tend to stop and wait til you can get off or keep going enough to get them back to the stable- motorbikes tend to just dump you at high speeds lol! It was an easy choice to sell that on lol!

I used to do actual metal weapons sword fighting back in the day, which is why I am uber picky on gaming fight mechanincs. My old (now passed on to my utter dismay) horse I'd trained to do pell work with sword and lance as well. He was AWESOME and died six weeks after I was injured. 2009 was a crappy year in may ways!

Great, now everyone here at work is wondering why I'm sniffling and have tears running down my face.

I've had to bury many a beloved dog and cat, man is it hard to wield a shovel doing that.

I can only imagine going through losing a horse. :crying:

I'm sorry to hear about you losing yours, lay a flower on his grave for me next you visit.

It reminds me of the Australian movie Mad Max

The Interceptor, the last of the V8, they were bad movies :-)

They were on TV 4 or 5 months ago, so funny :-)

You known they're making another one right?

Haha! Those are the first rules you learn as a beginner. We all learn to never go behind and mount on the left...but once you've had them a while ( 37 years for me) you have enough experience to read them so do as you like. I'm forever behind my guys - just make sure they know I'm there- and always teach them to let you do everything on both sides equally. It's like everything, the starter rules are to keep the noobs safe til they have enough experience to look out for themselves.

Growing up we had just about everything except horses.

Learned real quick though to never, ever, ever, stand behind a pony for any reason.

... or in front of them for that matter.

Mean lil' hay-burners.

Reminds me now of the time my dad and I went to get some more goats for my mom's herd.

An elderly gentleman in the next town was selling several and while we were there to pick them up he tried to sell us his (3) sheep too.

Dad said no, we didn't really need or want any sheep and the guy launched into telling us how great and nice and gentle they were.

Then he got this funny look in his eyes and rounded on the sheep, pointed an accusing finger at the ram and said in a loud voice ...

"Except for that SUM'B!TCH right there! He like'ta killed me last week. Bastard snuck up behind me an knocked me down and then wouldn't let me get back up! ... How much would you give me for 'em?"

... "No sir, we don't want any sheep."

I was pricing components for an SSD array for my little monster. When fully populated it will provide 1.4 TBytes for $624. This layout uses 240 GByte drives at $89 each. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a lot for 1.4TB.

Outside of raw speed, what does that do for you that a single SSD for your OS and a 2/3TB HDD for storage wouldn't do cheaper and maybe better?

On the other hand, if you've got that kinda' money burnin' a hole in your pocket go for it.

I already have an SSD for my OS, another for games and a 3TB HDD for general storage. Might get another 3TB just on GP.  The reason for doing it this way is because each increment is only $89. Could do it over time.

I should be able to make a serious dent in speed issues with a fully populated array. For certain values of the term "should".

Hello :-)

I run dual 512GID SSD in RAID zero 6GBPS, ok a bit more money, but the RAID zero makes it much faster :-)

What brand of SSD for 89 dollars?

I would go for a good brand of SSD in RAID zero, like this you can use the entire 1TB with no partition:-)

Be warned SSD are amazing, but some of them are not good quality and are probably not 6GBPS, that is quite important :-)
