Gee. Thanks for the salt. I love you, too.

If I were frugal instead of cheap, I wouldn't have these hair-brained schemes for upping my fast storage.
Now here is the obvious question. Is it hair-brained or hare-brained? Either works for me.

Well, I love lights!
My case looks like a transformer or a cylon and it's great lol! I have disco ball christmas tree ornaments...might have to try to work one into the display lol!
So. Much. Rain. here lol! So MUCH! I got drowned sorting out the horses this morning- and they're staying in ffs! We have rapids running down the back paddock right now- there is no creek there normally I might add, my water tank is well overflowing and the roof gutters can't keep up with the downpour so my verandah is a puddle lol! It's not funny up north though, high category 5 cyclone- the worst Aus has ever had going to hit Yepoon, an old mining town on the coast. The old buildings will not be cat 5 rated so this is going to be horrible. Thankfully the evacuation and emergency procedures are well in order. Poor blighters.

I am glad that you and your horses a safe :-)
Yes that is bad for the people who are going to get hit by a cat 5 with older homes :-(
Hope no one gets injured and that it does not do lots of damage

@LunaFancy Glad you are okay. I don't think I've ever seen a Cat 5 before.

I would not say it is hair brained:-)
At that price for those drives, I would go for it, except I would make mine external:-)
I have a nice big case also, but for data storage I use 4TB of Western Digital Black :-)
They are great reliable drives :-)
But since SSD drives have up to 2 million hours before MTBF, it is a good idea :-)

@LunaFancy. I'm glad you and your horses are OK. I hope there are none of those people who think they have a house that will stand a Cat5 storm. I'm from Louisiana and believe me, there is no such house. Not if it's in the wrong place at the wrong time.
@MatrixGirl. IKR. I checked on 120's but 240's are a better buy.

Yep, shiny and big and roomy and super quiet :-)
It falls in the class of audio video case for people who want to jam in lots of horse power and drives, but want silence while editing:-)

It's classically elegant and very nice. I agree.
However...Robot DISCO baby! ![]()

@ManlytSteel, The emergency services are hoping everyone is sensible too, the head of the police emergency services is visibly freaked when he comes on the tv to give updates.
We've had some really bad cyclones here in Qld, we had a low cat 5 a few years ago and in the 70's Darwin got levelled by a cat 5 cyclone named Tracey. Over the following 10 years the building code in the Northern states underwent major reworking and now anything in a storm prone area that was built after 1983 is cat 5 rated. But this storm is scary- 300km winds, so I'm like you and doubt anything, even new buildings is rated for it. Yeppoon is old, pretty much nothing will be able to cope.
I'm a good deal south of the cyclone areas but when I built my cottage I opted for a cat 5 wind rating myself. Can't be too careful!

Nice case :-)
What gets me is people who build houses where it says tornado alley or flood plains:-)
That is an indicator to not build there and move to a safer place :-)
Then the news show all the houses flooded or destroyed and they are on the news saying we lost everything:-)
Well duh what did not tip you off about the words tornado alley and flood plains:-)?

The case I have now came with the computer build. I look at cases but the ones I would buy all have one wart or another. I'm too picky to spend any real money on a case.

How about something clean and elegant but inexpensive? http://www.nzxt.com/...e-210-case.html

Myself I do lots of research and then I purchase what I like and read lots of reviews :-)
In a case I was looking for something quiet and does not have the flimsy feel to it and no shap edges like many cheap cases have :-)
I have seen cases that the interior was like razor blade sharp, those are the do not buy for me :-)
I do not like lots of lights and Windows and fans, so I look for that also :-)
Going back to the SSD I agree with you the 250GIG one are a better deal for you over the 120's

Nice case. Not really better than I have now, though. A Corsair 400R.
