Sigh. I guess my main concern comes from zuckerman buying oculus and wondering if perhaps the release one won't be better than or even as good as the DK2 because moneygrubbing...
Well, Oculus Rift is part of Facebook now. It is however being run as a separate entity. The tech is progressing quickly and Facebook has the funds to pump into it. It's just a waiting game now.

Eidos was supposed to have dual monitor gaming for DEHRDC, but I guess they never implemented it

They have a branch in Montreal I believe.. Probably same place where Eidos was. 
No, this scenario is actually different. Eidos was having financial issues and Square Enix bailed them out of it by merging. Square leaves them alone to do their thing mostly. The Tomb Raider reboot was a result of that and it came out brilliant. Deux Ex HR was actually one of the first games that came from the merger.

Well, my problem is solved- I'll need to upgrade my card first anyway. So i will wait til release and think about it all then.
Maybe wait til planetary or spaceport landing anyway. Thanks for talking me down from the ledge guys! 
You know what peeves me? DA:I has made me all scateered game wise, searchi8ng for something to fill the yawning gap it left I have bought all sorts of games. But nothing will mnake up for not getting the awesome elf game I thought I was getting. BOO!

But I told GODzilla that I was going to play DAI to the end, because he told me I cannot have an opinion of the game after playing it just for 7 hours
And someone else here today told me to delete DEHRDC because I said the guy looks a bit like Keanu reeves and sounds a bit like him
