Well, Peregrinus, you made me go and play again lol! I am SO easily influenced! Can you believe I made it to Vallamar (sp) in about two minutes? Easy as. Madness. Anyway I did it, and wasn't the one I was thinking of...pretty sure that one is in Crestwood. Anyway it is pretty amaing all the same so I actually had fun there.
I had enough power to do the ball...so I opened up the Western Approach instead lol! I really hate that ball, but doing a nudie run might make it funny if nothing else. Must remember to disable Dorian's necromancer this time- that undying harlequin bug was no fun last time.
Someone has opened up Solas for male quizzies so if the modders ever fix the elf model I will have a reason to play again. Also- Cullen has same sex dialogue so he'll be the next one they open up. I knew he was considering jumping the fence for my guys during one cut scene when they flirted!
So yeah, it was okay. I'm trying to pick and choose with the quests, just doing the 'holding the ***' ones and the mains. I'll go back for the wardens though I think I'll save the Dalish for when I have an actual elf. IF I ever have an elf that is. Meh. Now I'm annoyed again. Pffft.
Going to try Consortium tonight! Then try to survive a round in ED. I feel like I have gaming ADHD....
After DJ brought it up I had to go find another copy of "Freelancer" to replay.

Compared to DA:I, it's amazing how much graphics have improved, but the gameplay ... not so much.
Freelancer has better M/KB and I can fly my ship with my mouse!
Might give these a try too, they even have free demos:

ED looks very good, but the online only mode has me balked. Early on there was supposed to be an offline component but they cut it at the very last minute:
Quote from Wikipedia:
Removal of the offline mode
The announcement of the removal of the offline mode on 14 November 2014 was met by a significant number of complaints from customers, many saying they had backed the game on the understanding that it would feature offline play and others that there had been no prior warning of removal during the whole of the preceding development period.[26][38]
Frontier offered refunds to disappointed customers who had pre-ordered the game without playing it,[39] and said that those who had already played the game, in alpha or beta form, would not be eligible for refunds.[40][41] Later, Braben speaking for the company announced[39] that refunds would be judged on a "case-by-case" basis.[42][43]
Frustration over the perceived reluctance of Frontier Developments to willingly issue refunds led to the creation of an online text game Refund Quest,[44][45] a parody of the company's refund process.
Shades of EAware?
I don't know, chances are if I ever have a higher data limit and some money looking to be spent I'll try it but until then ...
Happy ti hear that you are feeling better IM and that you have weathered the storm Luna.
Hope all the rest are well too, "see" you later today.
