Hey guys, what is going on when you open a program and it shows up in the task bar as opened, but you get nothing when you click on it?

 

The bloody xml mapping program I was using yesterday is doing this now, I'm going to delet it and get d/l again, but thought someone might shed some light on what's happening with it.

Hey guys, what is going on when you open a program and it shows up in the task bar as opened, but you get nothing when you click on it?

 

The bloody xml mapping program I was using yesterday is doing this now, I'm going to delet it and get d/l again, but thought someone might shed some light on what's happening with it.

How long did you wait after you clicked on it?   You could open up task manager and see if it's unresponsive or if in memory but is doing nothing.  One thing you could try also is to set it to admin mode.. It's possible it needs more permissions then your average prog.

try to kill the task by using ctrl-alt-suppr, Luna. Then relaunch the program. Might be as simple as that.

It blows my mind the quality of the ships like this Hornet commercial which like all commercials for the game are done in engine it looked mind blowing when it was released a year ago and since then the ship has gone through numerous improvement passes including PBR so it looks even more amazing now.

I used to get that in older versions of Windows when a program would open "off screen".

 

Did you change your resolution before,after, or while running the program?

 

I cannot remember how I fixed that problem.

 

Might try going to a larger desktop to see if that bring the program back into view.

Thanks guys, i've downloaded it again and will see if it works, it wokred fine yesterday. weirdest thing ... I don't care what I have to do though, I will map this bleeding HOTAS lol!

 

I have to remamp the Legend Voice Attack pack to my settings in Elite Dangerous too- it's easy enough now I've done it twice already but still time consuming and annoying... So much remapping for one day lol!

I actually like this ship.   

I have the Military Variant of that ship (The Delta) in my hanger that particular one that you pictured game exclusively with AMD R9 GPU's the have a variant available for anyone else called the Gamma both are racing variants for the race modes which includes "weapons free/hot" race types as well

Okay, well I downloaded and extracted a new one and it's running just fine...so I am simply not shutting it down again until the remapping is done. Now...where is the guide I found...

 

A long and confusing day lies ahead of me lolo! But I shall perservere and emerge from the haze triumphant!
