so version after the little update is 1.0.0.4?  I thought version should be 1.0.3.0.  I'm confused now.

I noticed that "Mike Laidlawz" had checked out Ashen earlier so I looked at all of our members and saw he had visited Essorance among others, though not everyone allows their visitor list to show so I don't really know how many he visited.

That's because the user Mike Laidlawlz isn't a Bioware Employee- if you look closely you'll see they have a Bioware logo for the picture, but not for the group they belong to. It's an impersonator.

Oh a tip for the AMD users using mantle, if you experience frequent crashing sometimes go to documents >bioware>cache and delete the mantle cache. IT will remake a new cache and crashes should disappear until you have to repeat the process in the future when it starts happening again.

 

It seems to be that mantle creates a cache with corrupted assets and leads to crashing at one particular spot due to that. Example sometimes huts/houses have grass on their roofs which means mantle screwed up and needs to rebuild a new cache.

By the way, I've gone all Antivan Crow and downloaded cheat engine. I am seeing stuff that isn't available in-game yet. Oh man... No, no, no, no... looking away.

 

Anyway, I'm waiting for that mod Jackal19851111 mentioned before I run through the game again. I made it through the first time as a standing-still mage with every warrior spamming two abilities (challenge, war cry) so I can at least get through the story. 

 

Sigh.

 

Cheat-Engine is just the tool. I guess you also downloaded the Cheat Table. You don't need that. No cheat table, no cheats.

Oh... the Maker has indeed abandoned us. Oh Andraste, why? WHY? I sing the chant. Yes, I do. I tithe to the chantry. First it was Darkspawn. The Fight Blight. Then the crazy mage rebellion. Now... EA ruins my fun.

 

Bears should be tough. In the early game they are almost the single best source for tear 2 leather, so you can craft the best gear with their stuff. Plus it's a damn grizzley bear!

Patch 1 brought it to 1.0.0.1, patch 2 to 1.0.0.2, patch 2 hotfix to 1.0.0.3 and patch 3 to 1.0.0.4. Seems legit because they probably decided against adding special number for the hotfix.

G'day!

I've been a faithful PC gamer since 1998.

Around the time when Half Life and Unreal were released, I built my first AMD rig with a couple of Voodoo 2 Cards in SLI mode. (3dfx ruled)

 

When Playstation (1995) and X-box (2001) entered the market I had some fears that PC games could be in jeopardy, when the finance people took over the gaming industry and started hammering the PC coffin lid shut. Profits before art and dedication.

Every year it's become more evident that Game developers and companies like Electronic Arts.Inc are simply catering for consoles and throwing scraps to PC Gamers.

Instead of implementing the best possible programing for the best possible hardware for today's PC's, we PC gamers are getting shafted by simplified and mostly brain dead console creations and this in itself it is holding back the evolution of Gaming at the same time. It realy sucks!

We need to put end to this trend.

As for PC gaming, my eyes look to the indie scene for our future. I never thought Bioware would give us the middle finger, especially when it was my most anticipated game to the point I planned time during my leave to play it. Fan for 16 years and even after ME3 I never expected such a shaft. Oh well.
