Well, I've finished the rebind in the program- once I ditched the forum guide for the guide that came with the program itself it was clear enough. Deceptively easy perhaps...I feel like there should be another step but blowed if I can find one, so I guess it's done.
Now, I need to gather the fortitude to venture forth and see if it actually worked...
If not I give up and will fly the damn thing with the controller I bought for DA:I until they make rebinding accessible in game lol! *twitch* It's a sad day when rebinding in ED starts to look therapeutic....
Really should be doing other real life things about now by the way...who called the game a life killer?

It's strangely addictive but annoying at the same time, isn't it? the code tinkering I mean.
It used to be like that for me when I used to code NWN modules. My module was around 120 mb in size so it would actually take around 2 hours for it to compile. Sometimes, it would crash in the middle and I would have to redo it from beginning. lol
Well, it worked! No one is as shocked as me lol! Did a free flight and apart from the boundaries coming up all to soon, it was a treat!
The ship flies a lot differently to my Elite Dangerous one, I'd heard that the physics used in each game is different but experiencing it is something else. I like it a lot.
Now to rebind the ED voice pack, since I have the HOTAS out...and then I will catch up on the real life stuff I should be doing now lol!

As for my plans, oh the hilarity- I got into the Controls menu of ED all set with my HOTAS mapping diagram at the ready...couldn't find anything to remap.
15 minutes of head-scratching later it became apparent that unlike the ammy voice pack I used, this HCS one doesn't seem to come with any key binding map at all...
God, as soon as I found the guide I remembered I'd done exactly the same thing for the ammy one too lol!

I have some seriously bad internet and a metered one so I don't think I could play these things at all.

I'm on Verizon wireless, connection and speed are "iffy" at times but usually good.
The 20Gb/month plan I'm on is a real problem, especially with so many games going to digital distribution.
I can get a higher limit, if I want to pay an even more exorbitant rate than I am now ...
... or I can go over my limit and REALLY get taken to the cleaners.

I'm on a Sprint network but my data is capped to about 2-3 gb a month. I get rollover so that kinda helps. My speed ranges anywhere from 3g, 4g, 4g LTE. The problem is it fluxuates a lot. It won't stay on one speed very long. It causes huge problems with even games like Diablo 3 or Guild Wars 2.

I wasn't aware you can roll to dodge ? or maybe it was an alpha thing. Lot of this looks like shots from the alpha test still. I'm pretty sure the helmet of the inquisitor is obtainable that early on in the game.

It's an ability, you have to learn it. I think every class has their own kind. Rogues roll, mages shift...dunno about warriors.
I play warriors and there isn't a roll dodge.. That's what the video showed.
