Well a MMO would not have been a good idea since the console peasants cannot play against PC players

 

So they should have made it a console game only and not bug us PC players with this disaster they call DAI

I've taken abreak from DAI until these two patches are out. I'm playing ME1 for the first time and enjoying the hell out of it. Quite an entertaining game, even with the repeated cut-scenes.  I'm about half way through and having a good time.

@MatrixGirl  Some poor decisions at upper management.  The correct thing to do would have been to release for Xbox One and PS4  at end of November to meet the holiday deadline. Stagger the release on PC for 6 months to give time to adjust UI for mouse/keyboard, hotkeys, high resolution texture packs, etc. It would have been good PR.

Loved that game except for driving that Mako vehicle who is always broken or on its side with small fire power , but an amazing game

If you're playing ME1 you need this. I started a new playthough with it and it's amazing.

 

ETA: Peregrinus, once the quizzie and Dorian have done the deed, is there any more development in the romance? Or if you didn't do Dorian (see what I did there lol) I'm assuming the same principle would apply to the rest of them. Anything after the business that's worth seeing?

 

Because I'll play it through if their relationship develops, but at the moment it looks like it's pretty much all done once they get between the sheets.

My first playthrough, I actually ignored all the relationships altogether.   The game is much better with banter/relationships I've noticed on beta run.

I've seen ones for ME2 but nothing really for ME3.  LunaFancy posted the one for ME1, but I do remember seeing other mods for it also.

Thanks LunaFancy. I don't find the textures in ME objectionable. I don't know whose pet monkey that control system for the Mako is, but he should turn his programming degree in to the college he attended and hang his head on the way out the door.  It is horrible. The terrain designer should be slapped on the back of the head, too, since I'm handing out whatthehells. Other than that, I'm having a good time.

I know when I ran it a long while back, it was fine.  No magic needed. Just the ability to follow instructions properly.

ME1 was real good, but was repetitive , like DA2 was :-)

Supposedly Nvidia is working on something to make it 8 gig, now I find that hard to believe, but it will be only for the 900 series and the Titan

 

Do not know how they are going to do this since it is nearly impossible, but we shall see :-)

As soon as I finish ME I'll play ME2. I've owned them both without playing them for over a year. Then I'll buy ME3 at the next big sale. Then go back to DAI and see what's happened.

That would be a technical feat. I suppose it's theoretically possible.  Maybe they found an alternate way for the cards to draw the images on the screen. Right now, it's set so that one card draws top half, the other draws bottom half.
