Yep I agree with you
Made by PC gamers for PC gamers :-)
That is a hard pill to swallow and we ended up with a bad port.
He'll even console people are having all kinds of problems :-)
But they will fix consoles issues way before they fix our problems.
But I bet you they come out with a hot fix in the next few days :-)

It's not the patches, its the LIES that is SH-TTING ME

Hate to be that guy, but I saw this back in August...

Made quite a few statements that were met with unbridled fanaticism...

I'm done guys, I'll get my money's worth from the mods and thats it.

It's a real shame because of the writers, the lore, the world, the actors/actresses, the artists. They have nothing to do with this yet I can't support their work because to do so - I would support those FKWITS BEHIND THEM MILKING THEM AND US FOR MONEY LYING TO OUR FACES

FKING HELL... sh-t I'm not normally this PISSED.

Thanks, but the source code of GreenTea's mouselook mod does not run on its own, it hooks to DAI. I dont have nearly the same expertise as him to write from scratch, besides it's his work I'm minimodding :)

I'm more disappointed with patch 3, seriously, a mod has been out for over a month with no issues and all the functionalities of walk/jog/run hold/toggle and Bioware just adds a simple walk/run toggle after two months that doesnt work with command lines.

Will they stop embarrassing themselves?!

K, i never understood the need to walk anyway, its a gimmick for the rp'rs and i never had any trouble with the puzzles. Guess useless crap takes priority over real pc fixes. Only real issue i had with walking was in cut scenes on Female IQ's being that they walk like they have a serious case of piles, and hunch over like an Orangutan.

After 5 hrs of that i re built to a dwarf, couldn't handle it anymore.

just welcoming the newcomers. so, hi.

as for walking, there are a few puzzles that kept dropping me from a painful distance, all because I couldn't walk. and, yes I am an RPer, and yes I do like the walk toggle mostly because running in some places just doesn't seem right. might be minor for an issue, though if it wasn't added it would irk me still.

Well I can really recommend the walk script (see link in my signature). Been playing with this for over a month now (v1 was released on December 19th) and haven't had a single issue. Only joy lol. :D

As I said yesterday I rather walk into a bar and wiggle my sexy female Mage butt than running into everything like I was drunk. So the walk toggle is nice to have :-)

I've gotten so used to jogging-toggle as my primary speed in Skyhold and other more open urban areas and use it out of immersive reasons sometimes, too. Like when I'm going down a steep path --> jogging speed so I don't break my neck. :D

And I've gotten used to walk-hold. Right when I need it I can activate it as long as I need it, then release to disable. Beats toggle imho. :)

Wow BW keeps telling me I have one warning point against me. Anyone knows how long that warning point stays before it goes away :-). ?

Come on, have you not noticed how ugly the fem quizy walk is in the cut scenes, and RP only matters in cutscenes.

Well it is not that bad and I am hoping it will get better :-)
But for inside places it is better to walk than run around bouncing all over the place :-)

There is even a quest (sorry, task, or I am still too generous?) that I was unable to complete because of the lack of walk toggle/terrible MPc ontrols. the one when you have to touch a pillar and do three circles counter-clockwise in the Hinterlands...so not only RP

Each to their own my dear, but i place RP where its meant to be, inside RPMMO games where real people, not pixels take note.

I found that for this task, my followers were more trouble than the whole not being able to walk thing.

Greets to all the new folks!

Hey, now, let's not diss the walking in DA - the girls walk fine when they can walk at all.  They stole that animation from DA2 and personally, I rather liked it. Even Aveline (ahhh, Aveline...  so pissed you couldn't romance that ginger tank goddess) had it.

Also, someone mentioned the old arcade games - man, if I had the bleedin' money I pumped into those things... THIS was my fave.  I got the point where I could routinely rack up a million points on it on a single quarter.

As to the latest patch, I think EA likes to think we have short memories, because I can recall someone saying that Patch 3 was gonna be a "lot of fixes" and we pretty much got squat.  I could give less of a damn about Varric riverdancing than the fact that I can't harvest/mine anything and thus can't finish 99% of those filler quests they inflict on us.

Just a smidgen more bloody important to my mind.

Thanks also for someone mentioning the original DOOM and Quake.  They were fun, but like I said, I liked the original UT more.  "Headshot!" and "HOLY SH!T...Sh!t...sh!t..." still make me smile.  I'm strange, what can I say?  Beats the crap out of 'normal' any day.

Be cool, everybody. Gotta get back to it, Lone Wolf and Cub isn't that entertaining left on 'pause'.

I guess I keep playing with the current patch and the "shield problem"...I noticed that I never really took Iron Bull with me. Time to change that. No shield, no problem. :D

But I really hope they do a hotfix in the next couple of days, preferably before the weekend.

BTW: Does anyone here actually still play or are you all finished - either because you're through or because you're fed up? ;)

Yes. That article re: the Xbone exclusive (which is freaking hilarious--they went Xbone and PS4 has double sales. TOLD YOU SO, BIOWARE <-- thus proving once and for all that I am, indeed, a woman).... cough... what was I saying. Oh, yeah. It's not that there are exclusives (which aren't really "exclusive", it's just they get it first.... just like they did the game itself), but the crock of bulldust they're trying to sell with it.

"So we can work faster". **** that noise. I despise liars.
