I got a chance to play a bit of Grim Dawn last night.  I don't think I've ever seen a game in beta with so much polish.. It runs flawlessly. I'm very glad that team at Iron Lore survived to make this.

Lol! Invisible man, my little girl Burmese Isolde (yes she has a male counterpart named Tristan) sat on my ~ button during my Skyrim sesh today, took me a few minutes of no controls to work out what happened...

 

Speaking of Skyrim - Peregrinus, you've simultaneously greatly enhance and ruined my life with your helpful Skyrim mod tutelage. Now I have my nice elf to run around,  I finally see the appeal of the game instead of just the hideous elves. So much so that after my ED run, when I should have been going to bed, I jumped back into Skyrim for another amazing hour.

iirc, I go by Invisible_Person on steam (it's been a while), and CasperTheLich on origin. (use it a little more frequently, though only when I can't avoid it)

It was supposed to be something to ease console players into PC .  *sigh*  Well, at least Linux gaming will actually be a thing now.  More PC gamers into the fold.

I'm sitting in a recliner in front of a big oak-y L-shaped desk, and using a flattened ironing-board as a makeshift typing mouse controlling surface. it's actually quite nice. it goes well with my 32" flatscreen tv.

@Invisible man   Good solution. I'm just a bit irritated at Steam for going towards a controller type solution when they could easily design something like this lapboard but make it more specific to gaming if they feel that for some reason a keyboard/mouse is so hard to use.

it only took me about 30 seconds to come up with that. and it's not too intrusive either.
